8.5 / 10.0 - Cuphead
Sep 29, 2017

Cuphead is a hardcore game with a beautiful art design that recalls the classic cartoons of the '30s. Based on splendid boss fights and with some "run and gun" levels, MDHR Studios' game is challenging and satisfying.

Hidden Dragon Legend tries to do more than it can truly do. The combat system is deep but with too many problems, many game sections are frustrating and the game has overall bad animations.

5.5 / 10.0 - The Coma: Recut
Oct 5, 2017

The Coma: Recut is full of cliches. If you've already played White Day, you can imagine what kind of survival horror it is: you'll find an annoying killer that will follow you throughout the game, you have to find the right item to go on, you'll suffer from the backtracking and you'll have to run away from dangers of hide yourself. Repeat for three or four hours and that's it.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Evil Within 2
Oct 12, 2017

The Evil Within 2 is a very solid and thrilling survival horror. Despite some not so good tension breaking sandbox sections, filled with unnecessary fetch quests, this sequel is better than its predecessor: better game rhythm, better story, no more frustration and a compelling skill system.

Gran Turismo Sport aims to become the leader of the racing e-sports games. Without a classic career mode and with a calendar of online competitions that will offer a lot of races throughout the next months, this chapter can disappoint the fans of the series. Also, the starting contents are poor and are comparable to the GT Prologue ones.

7 / 10.0 - Home Sweet Home
Oct 31, 2017

Home Sweet Home is a good survival horror game that mixes hide & seek and stealth gameplay with thai folklore. Too bad for the cutted ending that forces players to wait for the next game.

5.5 / 10.0 - Oure
Nov 2, 2017

Oure fails to follow the steps of games like Journey and Abz'. The story and the game become generic very early and there are too many problems with the camera. Also, apart from the the titan fights, it is very boring most of the 3-4 hours needed to complete it.

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds is a very good DLC that tells a new story and broades the scope of the main one. With many missions to accomplish and a brand new location in the frozen lands of the Great North, it is a must buy extra content.

Need for Speed: Payback has a lot of competitions to complete and has everything you can expect by a game of the series. It is also heavily focused on grinding, because is the only way to avoid the infamous microtransactions.

NiOh: Complete Edition is a lazy port of the originale game: no support for mouse and keyboard, no settings inside the game (you have to use the launcher). Nonetheless is an edition that offers a lot of contents and all the three DLCs. It is a must buy for all the soulslike lovers.

7 / 10.0 - Black Mirror
Nov 27, 2017

The Black Mirror reboot revolves around dark family secrets, with a narrative that pays homage to classic gothic tales. Even so it has a lot of technical flaws: from graphics issues to bugs and bad animations, there's little to save from this point of view.

Resident Evil: Revelations is not one of the best game in the series, but had the advantage to come out between two of the worst chapters. This Switch version is well done and adds motion controls and a minigame.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is a step backward in this new spin-off series. It has a lot of content, but the episodic nature of the game has contributed some problems to the story and the gameplay, both of which are full of fillers. The conversion, at least, is good.

Good job for the remastered, with brand new options for HD e 4K support. If you missed the game, now it's time to play a classic jrpg from the PS3/Xbox 360 era.

End of Zoe is a disappointing DLC. It lasts two hours e show us how to do a step back from the main game. Joe Baker and his punches are a bad game design choices that will not convince even the fans of Resident Evil 7.

8.5 / 10.0 - Finding Paradise

Thanks to a very good story, Finding Paradise is another masterpiece from Kan Gao. Different from To The Moon, this new game explores the great themes of human nature, and it's absolutely unforgettable.

7 / 10.0 - Bleed
Dec 28, 2017

Bleed on Switch works fine and seems originally designed for this new console. After four years, the game is still engaging, but 15 euros for a game that can be bought at 99 cent on Steam is a very bad marketing choice.
