Despite some flaws at its day-one, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is an enjoyable experience on PC and this port is far from the issues we recently experienced on the PC release of The Last of Us - Part I.

Harmony: The Fall of Reverie is a visual novel with an unexpected depth, perhaps the Don't Nod's truly artistic videogame.

Aliens Dark Descent is a good real time strategy game set in the Alien universe and equipped with some winning ideas that are hard to overlook, such as the feature of permanent death. It's not gonna become the next XCOM, but it's a pretty enjoyable RTS nonetheless.

The return of the queen of darkness, as seen so far, seems to be no better than this.

System Shock Remake is a solid sci-fi first person shooter, although it does not go beyond the boundaries drawn by the first and immortal chapter, released in 1994.

LEGO 2K Drive is a good racing/open world, where imagination is the only limit. Too bad for a certain underlying monotony.

The Last of Us Part I, on PC, is a broken game. We are not talking about the qualities of the title itself – which will always remain those of an undisputed masterpiece – but about the way in which a product of this magnitude has been converted to a personal computer. In the face of this, if you feel the need to relive the adventure of Joel and Ellie, our advice is to turn to the PS5 edition. In case you are not happy owners of a Sony console, you would better wait for the ritual patches, which – we are sure, but it will still take time – will fix the Naughty Dog title on PC, as it should be.

Despite reminding us of carefree years, in which video games were experienced in a significantly different way, The Legend of Dragoon is not the gem of JRPGs forgotten over time. The "Sony Final Fantasy" is in fact still a title too derivative, which has from its some creative flair here and there, lost in a sea of banality due to main characters without charisma, a plot overall really bland and a soundtrack certainly not very incisive. A bad game? Not at all. Only, not the great immortal classic that many remember.

Despite being often repetitive, High On Life manages to impress with off-the-wall humor from the creator of Rick and Morty.

Need for Speed Unbound is a good mix of cartoon characters, graffiti and frantic racing, but nothing more.

Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales on PC is the same, excellent game seen and played two years ago on PlayStation 5 consoles, plus the usual boost offered by the potential of your PC gaming: beautiful to see, with some uncertainty on the frame rate side that will undoubtedly be corrected in the coming weeks with the usual ritual patches, the game suffers from a certain basic repetitiveness, as well as being 'only' a more of the same of the previous Marvel's Spider-Man. Wearing the tights of the Spidey of Harlem is in any case an experience to live, especially if you missed it on PS5.

New Tales from the Borderlands opens up another vibrant, extremely fun and mad exploration of the Borderland's universe, with a second round of episodes even better than the first.

If you missed this two intriguing games until now, this may be the best chance to follow Max and Chloe's path, as Life is Strange and Before the Storm are well fitted on Nintendo Switch.

Included in the PlayStation Classics collection offered to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, Syphon Filter 2 is an all-round sequel, able to demonstrate how it actually took very little to improve the ideas of the original chapter. The adventure of agents Gabe Logan and Lian Xing has aged quite well, despite belonging to a generation of consoles now very distant in time, representing in fact a great 32-bit classic to be rediscovered before immediately.

Return to Monkey Island is a perfectly judged return of an instant classic for the genre, with just the right level of complexity and challenge, aside from some minor quibbles.

Soulstice gives a good challenge to veterans of the genre and is a good choice for beginners, in a mix between Devil May Cry and Berserk.

The PlayStation Classic in question is in fact a diamond in the rough, still able to return great sensations from the point of view of playability in the strict sense. To be recovered if you are eager to discover (or rediscover) a classic that has certainly traced the way for beat 'em up to meetings released in recent years.
