Even though YIIK strikes out, there’s definitely some potential in the game’s overall design with a pretty solid foundation that leaves room for plenty of improvement, and I wouldn’t mind giving Ackk Studios another chance at making another Post-Modern RPG.

Problems aside, this is the best Smash yet, and it would be an understatement to say that the game has so much more. The game IS so much more, and there’s so much more coming.

Octopath Traveler is simply fantastic in every meaning of the word, and no Switch owner who has a liking for JRPGs should be without this game in their library.

You’ll have more fun waiting in line at the DMV, and you’ll feel more accomplished because at least you know you’ll be done there. The Quiet Man is simply terrible, so let’s hope that was loud and clear.

Super Mario Party isn’t quite in the class of Mario Party 2, but it’s definitely a return to form for the series and should be a joy to play for any newcomer or fan of the long-running series.

It starts off a little slow, but the game’s pacing and story make Shadow of the Tomb Raider the best entry in the current trilogy, which I would argue is even better than the Uncharted trilogy.

Fire Pro Wrestling World is a whole lot of fun and will definitely appeal to hardcore wrestling fans looking for a video game to satiate the craving of a WWE alternative.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is wildly entertaining, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Overcooked 2 is more of the same, if not even more chaotic, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

While the story mode was completely disappointing considering it was one of the more unique aspects in the game, the fact that the actual tennis is so deep more than makes up for that mishap.

However way you look at or decide to play with it, there’s hardly ever a bad time for Lumines.

There’s a glaring flaw for nearly every aspect the game succeeds at, and with that, it’s tough to argue against the game’s overall look as well as the 8 or so hours of enjoyment there are to be had.

Vampyr has a lot of great features and ideas, which is an impressive thing to say about any game in this genre, but it just doesn’t hit home on aspects that make a good action RPG truly engaging.

While this sequel has its clear improvements over the original, I was still more thoroughly impressed with Wrath of the White Witch. Even though the predecessor was more childish, I personally enjoyed the first game's journey and its characters a whole lot more.

...this game actually does a fantastic job making a multiplayer game feel as involved and engaging as an 8-hour 70’s buddy movie.

Gamers have heard for years about how great the series is, and no Monster Hunter game demonstrates that better than Monster Hunter: World. The game is constantly cycling in new content to blend in with the game’s main campaign and meaty post-game with the bulk of it being free, making it hard to not praise Capcom for this feat.
