Trails series is quite possibly the best modern JRPG series we have today, and Trails of Cold Steel III finally gives us some more, and more is exactly what we needed.
What makes the Control’s mishaps so frustrating is the fact that the game is absolutely terrific.
Nintendo really has something with Mario Maker, and it’ll be interesting to see how it continues to grow, because it has perhaps one of the most interesting communities in all of gaming.
My Friend Pedro is a lot of stylish and silly fun.
Katana ZERO has both substance and flare, making it one of the most enjoyable games of the year, especially if you enjoy your neon colors.
If you’ve never played the game, it’s definitely worth the time and money especially since all the (mostly cosmetic) DLC comes with the package. If you've already played it, I'd be a little bit more hesitant.
Ape Out is every bit as fun as it is stylish, which are two features that usually result in a fantastic indie experience, so if you’re even thinking about getting this game, quit monkeying around and do it.
Rules might be one of the saddest and most profound episodes I’ve ever played in an episodic video game, and that’s a testament to the job Dontnod has been doing with Life is Strange 2.
I’m glad I gave it a chance.
Even though YIIK strikes out, there’s definitely some potential in the game’s overall design with a pretty solid foundation that leaves room for plenty of improvement, and I wouldn’t mind giving Ackk Studios another chance at making another Post-Modern RPG.
Problems aside, this is the best Smash yet, and it would be an understatement to say that the game has so much more. The game IS so much more, and there’s so much more coming.
Octopath Traveler is simply fantastic in every meaning of the word, and no Switch owner who has a liking for JRPGs should be without this game in their library.
You’ll have more fun waiting in line at the DMV, and you’ll feel more accomplished because at least you know you’ll be done there. The Quiet Man is simply terrible, so let’s hope that was loud and clear.
Party Pack 5 is definitely the most fun its been in a while, primarily because of two games.
Pokémon Let’s Go is as deep as Pokémon games come.
Super Mario Party isn’t quite in the class of Mario Party 2, but it’s definitely a return to form for the series and should be a joy to play for any newcomer or fan of the long-running series.
It starts off a little slow, but the game’s pacing and story make Shadow of the Tomb Raider the best entry in the current trilogy, which I would argue is even better than the Uncharted trilogy.
Fire Pro Wrestling World is a whole lot of fun and will definitely appeal to hardcore wrestling fans looking for a video game to satiate the craving of a WWE alternative.
Marvel’s Spider-Man is wildly entertaining, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Overcooked 2 is more of the same, if not even more chaotic, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
