Alan Wake Remastered, as Agent Cooper would say, is like a great cup of coffee, of the black one, and served hot; however, you will have to be a coffee lover to be able to fully appreciate it. Remastered or not, the original game was also great at the time and in this version it can also be appreciated on Sony consoles after the end of the previous exclusivity due to the collaboration between Microsoft and Remedy.

The slogan "the definitive version of the best game ever" used to sponsor the title in question really seems to be the most suitable one to give a final judgment to Tetris Effect: Connected. Further reason to love it? It is included with the Xbox Game Pass subscription.

6 / 10.0 - Bright Memory
Nov 26, 2020

However short, Bright Memory lets you glimpse its capabilities but does not have time to apply itself thoroughly given its brevity. Many clever ideas, weapons at a distance and melee, environmental puzzles, quasi-platform phases and huge bosses to face give hope for the future of this "one-man saga". It brings home sufficiency, which wants to be not only an encouragement but also a recognition of a promising future and a product that, despite being quite short, is playable and fun.

Take the two most loved skate games ever, put them together to get the new most popular skate game ever. Vicarious Visions and Activision do not miss the shot and hit the target in full. We didn't see skateboarding debut at the Tokyo Olympics, but Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is more than a good consolation in anticipation of next summer.

A huge title, rich in content and made playable on consoles in an almost miraculous way. Knowing that you always have the vast world of Eora in your pocket and that you can also play short sessions thanks to the portability of Nintendo Switch is no small added value, the interface is clear and readable despite the size of the screen and feeling part of the adventure, especially for lovers of role-playing games, is instantaneous.

8.7 / 10.0 - Sonic Mania Plus
Jul 20, 2018

Sonic Mania is the Sonic game we've been waiting for years, the one we're likely to play for years. The bedtime fairy tale with a happy ending that we would like to hear told before bed. A tribute to the original capable of taking every single bit from the original cartridge and creating something capable of making us relive the same emotions of the past when the blue hedgehogs began to make the plumbers dressed in red tremble for the first time.

Moss in an amazing adventure that any PSVR owners should try. The new iteration of the Level-5 adventure series does not impress when it comes to puzzles, plot and character development, but despite that Layton's Mystery Journey is a great start for a new cycle in the franchise history. If you loved the previous games of the saga, you will definitely enjoy the new adventure of Katrielle Layton, but we hope that in future Level-5 and Nintendo could join forces to create something really special based on Nintendo Switch unique features.

6 / 10.0 - Theseus
Aug 3, 2017

Theseus is a good experiment made by the folks at Forge Reply, that uses a third-person camera for the first time in a VR project. Despite some good idea and the fascinating Greek mythology, Theseus lacks of a good story and an appealing combat system that could add variety to a 1-hour long journey towards the end of the labyrinth.

GRIDD: Retroenhanced is an intense and fun arcade-style experience that anyone who loved the '80s cyberpunk genre should live by closing their eyes and letting the music guide them. An easy to learn, difficult to master shoot 'em up well orchestrated by the wise conductors of the Italian indie team Antab Studio, that engages players by leaving them the desire for yet another game.

8 / 10.0 - Thumper
May 18, 2017

No matter which version of Thumper you will play, you're definitely gonna love it. The first game from Drool offers the classic "easy to learn, difficult to master" gameplay, which feels even better on Nintendo Switch. On the new Nintendo console, the game offers the chance to move between the great TV mode and the awesome Handheld mode in a blink, while the HD Rumble on both Joy-Cons gives you a great sensation. A must-buy for every Switch owner.
