The choices, sadly, don't feel very impactful, which is another negative for a VN, but the number of endings and diverse options of dads available to date do make a notable difference.
If you want to play as robots, Synthetic Dawn is a must-buy. It's just a shame (and really odd) that Paradox didn't add robotic ships, cities and flag types. With these added, it would have been perfection.

Implementing a time-sensitive system that forces you to make quick decisions and consider future actions on the spot, it's easy to pick up but difficult to master without a lot of practice.
It's not perfect and there are microtransactions that are interwoven with the experience, but if you can overlook the few issues it does have (like you would in a competitor title) you can have many hours of enjoyment here.
