Even though GRID delivers sweet graphics and an incredible driving experience, the title suffers from a weak carreer-mode, a stiff presentation and an obsolete Multiplayer, so that it misses out any long-term motivation. Nevertheless, fans of intensive racing action should try out GRID, because its great driving mechanics still delivers enough fun for short sessions.

In terms of gameplay, WRC 8 goes on par with DiRT Rally 2.0 on the first place, but due to it`s stiff presentation, the partly outdated menu navigation and the high boarding hurdle it still can`t hold on with Codemasters paragon. Fans of rally-sports and detailed driving mechanics should add the title to their collection anyway, due that content and gameplay can convince on the entire line.

Daemon X Machina delivers massive mecha-action in the style of Armored Core, that in fact sets no new impulses to the genre, has to fight with an actual interesting, but weak presented story and could scare off some new entrants with the loadout-mechanics, but actually plays very well and delivers enough inducement to play it beyond the story mode. Fans of Armored Core and mecha-action in general eventually find enough reasons for a buy.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is an interesting Title with a fascinating Setting and an exciting micromanagement, but due to his repetitive character, the game blocks itself from turning into a potential hit. Friends of survival adventures, who want to have a unique setting, should give the title a try because of the motivating generations-system.

Blazing Chrome is a suprisingly massive action orgy, that plays like a spiritual successor to the legendary Contra Hard Corps with a theme from Terminator, which doesn`t bring up anything new on the table, but is simply awesome in its whole execution. A must-buy for fans of Contra and friends of bombastic run and gun action with lots of love in detail.

Stranger Things 3: The Game don`t take any new approach in terms of gameplay and has some problem with his animations, but delivers entertaining 16-Bit retrofun with a strong emphasis on the story of the current season and invites you thanks to the well-made gameplay to a session with or without your friends. Fans of the series or classics like Zombies Ate my Neighbors or The Chaos Engine should take a look at this title, but also should bring previous knowledge from the series with them to get the most out of it.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a well-made kickstarterproject, which manages to redeem his promises in terms of gameplay, but don`t go any new ways and has a few technical issues. Even with its problems, the game makes a lot of fun thanks to its good flow. Fans of Metroidvania and especially Castlevania should set this title on their list.

With the Contra Anniversary Collection, M2 and Konami deliver a very well playable and technical-wise impressive finale to their 50th birthday. which unfortunately contains too much different versions of the same games and lacks some highlights of the series. Nevertheless, fans of classic and challenging Run N`Gun action can`t come around this package.

TerraTech is a quite entertaining Sandbox title, which makes fun due to its innotative idea and all the possibilities, but has to fight with some drawbacks like clumsy controls, a not-well fitted Layout and a very monotonous soundtrack, which are holding back the game from showing its potential. Nevertheless, fans of games with bricks and no gaming PC should take a look at TerraTech.

The Konami Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection is a technical well ported Collection of various Shooters from the glorious days of Konami in the arcade of the 80`s, which contains with the exception of the horrible Haunted Castle and two more historical interesting games a variation of good games with a great gamedesign, which manage to deliver a fair amount of fun for Shoot em Up fans even to present days. Even when the execution of the Bonus Book is rather weak and a couple of other great and important titles are missing, fans of games like Gradius and videogaming history in general should think about a purchase of this collection.

Except for a little oversensitive controls in the titles for the NES, the Castlevania Anniversary Collection is a perfect example on how to deliver with a collection a perfect profile of a series and its first generation and delivers big time with is selection of games, options and bonuscontent. Sniper Elite v2 Remastered is from its technical point of view a well made second part of a series, which managed to achieve through little adjustements a lot of depth and established himself in the videogame landscape. Even though the remaster misses many of the advantages of his successors and its linearity can be a little bit boring, interested new entrants and Fans, who are searching for a little snack until Sniper Elite 5, should give it a buy.

Though Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice goes in terms of storytelling and rpg mechanics more compact ways than his spiritual predecessors, it turns up his expectations on your skillset much higher and delivers you a total new, stunning and challening experience, which demands anything and shouldn`t be missed out by any fan of well-kept hardcore games. With the exception of From Softwares typical problems with the camera and a little headstrong lootmechanic, Sekiro is indefinitely a must-have and potential contender for the game of the year.
