Overall, Trine 4 is a worthy sequel for the Trine series, which combines eye-catching visuals with creative mechanics for characters and puzzles and a simple yet entertaining story to offer a pleasant experience to the players. The sole drawback of Trine 4 lies in its flawed combat system that could have been designed to be more challenging and engaging.

The secret to the success of Children of Morta is that, unlike most Iranian video games, its target audience is universal. That being said, the developers have tried to add Iranian elements to the game as much as possible, which is worthy of praise. Children of Morta is definitely the first Iranian game that, by utilizing an appropriate art style, addictive and appealing gameplay, and professional voice-acting, has managed to raise the game industry of Iran to a global level. I hope that other Iranian game studios choose Fan Afzar as their role model and help our gaming industry thrive and prosper internationally.

It's really difficult to find games similar to A Plague Tale: Innocence and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons these days. The type of games that focus on characters and the relationships that form between them through the course of the story. Because of its unique character design, its emotional narrative, and portrayal of a world that's filled with elegance and filth, A Plague Tale: Innocence is a special and ineffaceable game that has made its mark in the history of video games.

9 / 10.0 - Mortal Kombat 11
Apr 22, 2019

Engaging and challenging gameplay, stunning visuals, detailed animations, and a memorable soundtrack all are the reasons why Mortal Kombat 11 is one of the best Mortal Kombats in the last few generations of video games. Add to these, a very useful tutorial section, good netcode, various online options, and a vast customization system, and you will have one of the best fighting games of this generation in front of you. I just wish developers hadn't locked a significant portion of customization content behind different game currencies and a need to always being connected to the internet, otherwise, it would have been a flawless game.

9.2 / 10.0 - Kingdom Hearts III
Feb 22, 2019

Kingdom Hearts III is a competent continuation to one of the most ambitious and dreamy video games of all time. It takes place in a world where the destiny of Sora and his companions intervenes with precious Disney characters; a place where hope, dreams, and power of love stand against anger, hatred, and lust for power. It doesn't matter if you're an old fan of the series or just a new player. If you can enjoy a mix of Disney characters with creative gameplay, a story with childish innocence, and an ear-catching soundtrack, Kingdom Hearts III will create a memorable experience for you.

9 / 10.0 - Resident Evil 2

It's almost impossible to believe that after releasing poor sequels like Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Capcom has managed to listen to its audience, take Resident Evil back to its roots, and start remaking its memorable and popular titles in the best way possible. 8 / 10.0 - SoulCalibur VI
Oct 17, 2018

SoulCalibur VI is a pleasant remake of the highly acclaimed SoulCalibur. Fluid combat and a diverse set of characters have brought an enjoyable experience both for the old fans and the new audience. There are some problems with storytelling, but you can't usually expect a great story from fighting games due to their gameplay-focused nature. If you're looking for a genuine and nifty combat system, eye-catching visuals, and an epic soundtrack right now, SoulCalibur VI is your best pick.

5.4 / 10.0 - Mulaka
Sep 7, 2018

Mulaka tries to portray the culture of a legendary Mexican tribe and introduce it to gamers worldwide. To succeed in doing so, aside from the subject, a game has to be a good and likable game first, and this is precisely what Mulaka has failed to achieve. Mulaka's visuals aren't very appealing, and on the other side, its combat usually gets repetitive fast. Mulaka can be an excellent example for developers who are focusing on displaying a particular culture in their games; they first need to remember that they can't use a cultural factor to convince gamers to play their game, at least not until their game is good in general.

5.4 / 10.0 - Anamorphine
Sep 4, 2018

Anamorphine is the prime example of a game that hasn't implemented its ideas properly and suffers a lot from technical issues. These types of heavily flawed games could teach a good lesson to the developers who are about to release their first game.

Due to its unique art style, professional voice acting, and whimsical world and characters, Flipping Death has found a distinct identity in the adventure genre. Nowadays, it's very challenging to make people laugh. Still, Flipping Death has successfully managed to pull that off with the intelligent use of common jokes and incorporating a cast of weird and comical characters.

Detroit: Become Human is an exceptional video game for gamers who enjoy interactive dramas. It follows in the footsteps of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, but ultimately it brings a far greater experience to the table. It's filled with lots of memorable and inspiring moments, and thanks to great acting from the cast, emotions and feelings come to life better than expected.

7.8 / 10.0 - Nidhogg 2
Sep 21, 2017

Nidhogg 2 has sacrificed simplicity for the sake of variety. Though this could be annoying for some fans, it has made the gameplay more profound and complicated than the original game. However, newly added weapons have unbalanced the game and damaged the combat system. Innovative graphics have injected the game with a new identity that is eye-catching every now and then. In addition, the OST of the game is one of the best in the electronic genre and turns every level into a unique experience.

10 / 10 - Cuphead
Sep 10, 2017

Cuphead is a mixture of pure art and creativity, resulting from the Moldenhauer Brothers’ risk-taking and the twenty-four-hour effort of MDHR studio members. A title that takes us back to the sweet world of 1930s cartoons. However, this time it’s different; we can control its characters. A combination of eye-catching drawings, fast and rhythmic jazz music, and speedy and challenging gameplay makes Cuphead an exceptional title that is one-of-a-kind!
