Metal Gear Survive is a mediocre endeavour at trying to let a storied franchise meet a genre that lost steam two years ago. It feels dated in almost every aspect made worse by what feels like an under-developed game. It hardly does anything extensively bad but it doesn't attempt to do anything with the core system. It is just another crafting survival game, except it has the Metal Gear named slapped on.
Typoman Revised definitely deserves a chance if you have never played a word-focused puzzle platformer before. While it doesn't quite hold the same impact as others in the genre, it still leaves a positive impression. If you ever wanted to play scrabble in the depths of fear, Typoman is for you.
Dragon Quest Builders has found its ideal home on the Nintendo Switch. The building and crafting game fits right in and can be a wonderful time, especially as a companion game to other activities. While the issues are still very present, there is still a lot of fun to be had which holds more weight for first time players.
