Trails of Cold Steel IV doesn't make radical updates to the series' formula. The presentation stylings are all here for better or worse. The finale to this long-running story is easily worth your time.
Despite its age showing a bit and some lacking story elements, Ys Memories of Celceta is a very enjoyable game that set the tone for the series moving forward.
Oniken has plenty of passion put into the game. The 80's action film styling are cool but the game design itself is sadly stuck in a time where gaming was still feeling itself out.
The port to PC and current consoles have definitely breathed some new life into these two games. Very minor issues do not plague otherwise excellent ports!
Darksiders Genesis tries its hand at something new once more and finds more successes than fails. Strife is another great character for the series. Genesis has excellent art direction, varied enemies with fun combat in either solo or co-op play. Do not lose the balance by missing this title!
Mages of Mystralia is a charming game that tells a simple tale. Despite the length of the tale being somewhat short, the adventure in this beautiful world is well made with a nice art direction and a beautiful score that will carry you through a very pleasurable experience. Definitely give Mages of Mystralia a visit.
20XX is a fantastic game that oozes passion and is a strong tribute to the Mega Man X series. This is a must buy for a discounted title!
If JRPGs with layered combat systems, a beautiful worlds, and the call of unique lore sounds up your alley, then give this game a whirl.
Wulverblade's attempt to capture the past hold it back in some ways, But its excellent sense of mysticism, brutality, and craftsmanship overcomes most of its flaws.
BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is solid fighter that blends unique characters and opens the doors to a lot of possibilities.
Dragon's Crown Pro will be familiar to many but with a nice audiovisual upgrade it is a treat for returning adventurers and newcomers alike.
The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is a sequel that improves certain things but didn't add the necessary refinements to other parts that needed it. Despite that, the game is enjoyable and fans of the original will certainly feel at home.
Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is an emotional bookend to a fantastic series. A few minor issues are overshadowed by a great story, fantastic game play, and a ton of side content. It's sad to see the main line games end but it gets a fitting ending.
