I found F1 Manager 2023 to be slightly worse than last year's edition. In small things, not important stuff, but still. That's the first aspect that pulls the score down. The second one is the fact that after the previous edition we were expecting updates and improvements in every part of the game, but we got basically the same game in terms of content and mechanics.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a very good 2D platformer, full of little innovations, but it doesn't feel like a major revolution. It plays very similarly to Super Mario Bros. 2, and that's a game that's already 35 years old.

In many ways, this game is the fulfilment of fans' fantasies of what it's like to be Spider-Man. We get our hands on a huge open city, expanded to include Brooklyn, Queens and beyond, where we use a wide range of abilities and options to take down a familiar gallery of villains. There are a few problems, though, and it's not pleasant to see them repeated from the first game.

The Football Cup 2023 fails in everything that video game football should be. And the worst part is that the creators have clearly given up on trying to make it better. Want football on Switch? Wait for FC 24, grab old FIFA editions, or almost anything else.

Bud Spencer & Terence Hill - Slaps And Beans 2 is not a bad game, and will especially appeal to fans of the legendary Italian duo. Compared to the first game, it has been expanded and improved in many ways, but it also has some nasty bugs that detract from the overall experience.

More than 500 cars, 20 completely redesigned tracks, each with different variations, an already rich career and addictive multiplayer. And that's just the beginning of the new Forza Motorsport. Turn 10 is truly delivering a next-generation racing game that strips away the bells and whistles to focus on the driving and the experience. You're going to drive a lot, you're going to improve, you're going to unlock new things and you're going to have fun. That's the most important thing.

Actually, there are not many problems in the core itself. But after so many months and for a premium price, you would expect more. You'd expect more variety and longer gameplay. You'd expect more novelty in the gameplay. You'd expect new environments, new puzzles, new enemies, new weapons. But that's not here. All we got was the same stuff we got back in March.

Thanks to great technological enhancements, you'll enjoy the best virtual football experience in years. It's just a shame that it's all built on tweaks. Also, all the new technology is just there to improve what we already know. But we want new modes, new experiences. And that's not here.

Chants of Sennaar also has the advantage that there hasn't really been another game like this one. There may be a few indie deciphering adventure games, but they lack the rich narrative and well-crafted aesthetics of Chants of Sennaar.

NetherRealm has really managed to make an exceptionally high quality title that is great story-wise and handles the brand boldly, yet with honour. Mortal Kombat 1 may very well be the best fighting game in this busy year, and it ranks among the best that this well-known franchise has ever delivered.

This should become the gold standard of modern processing of classic games. Many publishers will continue to bring mere ports and such, but here Digital Eclipse has shown how it should be done. It's not enough to just stretch the game to a higher resolution. Bonus materials, videos, audios, documents, photos, and various other things add tremendous value. Similarly, different versions of games, from prototypes through final releases to modern remaster, contribute as well. This is simply how it should look.

Mr. Run and Jump is an imaginative and challenging game that will test your skills and patience. It doesn't feel unfair, but you can clearly see that the designers' aim was to make you suffer as much as possible. There are a few small things that creak a little, but it's still a good experience that fans of similar games will enjoy.

Moving Out 2 is the same as the first game. And that's the biggest problem. You get the same thing again, with more content, but the same thing. The same graphics, the same sound, the same mechanics. It's still fun, but you want something better, more varied, more variable, newer.

Fort Solis is a pleasant, intimate sci-fi horror, but it could have been more. And that's the problem with the game. Everything here is good, but not enough. The story could have been better fleshed out, the game could have been longer, the gameplay could have been more variable. Only the atmosphere works well here.

Ideas alone aren't enough; they need proper execution. Despite an imaginative and well-crafted story wrapped in gameplay, the game eventually becomes very repetitive. It could still be recommended under specific circumstances, but the very poor execution, subpar technical state, and frustrating controls must also be taken into account.

If you like action games, you've never played Quake 2, and you don't judge games on graphics alone, you won't find a better deal on the market right now. For just a few bucks, you can get hours of shooting fun. Even if you've already played the game, it's worth coming back. You'll enjoy the new content, you'll enjoy the always-playable multiplayer, you'll enjoy the slightly improved graphics.

Synapse is a VR action game that offers an intriguing concept and a story that combines Heart of Darkness with Inception. The result is not bad, but it doesn't achieve the promised revolution in the genre. The game lags primarily in the area of variability, which is crucial for roguelite games.

C-Smash VRS is a game that you will keep coming back to. You can play a level in singleplayer, engage in online matches against someone, and still have fun. However, it could have been a bit better. There should have been more singleplayer content. There should have been ranked play in multiplayer. There should have been more details that would enhance the content, experience, or convenience.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons brings some innovations that nicely revitalize the gameplay and offer a new experience, but the game somewhat loses its essence from the well-known series. It provides replayability, but it is still relatively short.

Disney Illusion Island brings several interesting ideas, a beautifully crafted and designed world, but the gameplay starts to feel a bit shallow over time, so it doesn't quite reach its potential. However, it won't be a complete waste of time, especially if you play it with kids.
