Vampire: The Masquerade - Justice is not a bad game, even if it has its flaws. The stealth is handled quite well, the use of World of Darkness setting is decent, and the story isn't bas either. The voice acting is very good, and the music fits the game well. Graphically, it's not the best, but it has style and can get pretty bloody.

The Foundation universe deserves a better game. The game benefits from what was created in 1951, and the story here is one you will enjoy. So are the choices and the ability to explore this world in much greater detail, thanks to the extensive encyclopaedia. But the gameplay falls short of not only the story, but also the potential of the game itself.

Despite the minor flaws, I'm having more fun with The Finals than I have had with any multiplayer game in perhaps the last 5 years. It's dynamic, explosive, exciting, mechanically perfect and technically polished. Gone are the pre-release flaws, and what's left is fun action gameplay for anyone hungry for action and destruction. Playing in small teams motivates a different play style to Call of Duty, Battlefield and others, and offers an experience that is virtually unmatched on the market.

The result is a little adventure game that doesn't offend, that is really tightly hand-animated, and that is just as nicely paced. The plot isn't complicated, but you wouldn't expect it to be. It feels like an animated movie, and even if it has a few flaws, there's something special about it.

Yu Suzuki has done something original here. Definitely not for everyone, but it has its charm. Unfortunately, it also has its flaws. It is hard to get into the game when one of the bosses is a clock. The final boss is just a geometric formation. The story is there, but it's as if it's not there at all. The gameplay isn't bad, but even that gets old after a while.

The action is fun. That's what you'll enjoy most. You'll love the new dynamic lighting, the cheats add a little something extra, the game runs like clockwork on every platform, and there're even motion controls on the Switch. The developers promised that Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! 2 would be a better game than the first, and they succeeded. But it's just a little bit better. While the game is fun and more varied, and still looks and sounds great, it's short and still pretty shallow in the end. What saves it is the fun co-op and the extended combat system. The story isn't bad either, and shows us that the developers would like to continue the series.

Football Manager 2024 sticks to a formula that works well and doesn't try to change it, but it does add some minor innovations. These are mainly aimed at experienced and hardcore players, but the game still manages to appeal to new players through a series of hints and assistants.

Studio Teyon have shown that they understand the RoboCop brand and have delivered a game that fits in well with the established world. They've also given us what may be our last chance to enjoy Peter Weller in this iconic role. The action is fun, the shooting is probably the best this year, the upgrading and leveling makes sense, and overall it works well as a game, even if there are a number of hiccups. This game is more than the sum of its parts, though, and for fans it's something they've been waiting for for years.

I found F1 Manager 2023 to be slightly worse than last year's edition. In small things, not important stuff, but still. That's the first aspect that pulls the score down. The second one is the fact that after the previous edition we were expecting updates and improvements in every part of the game, but we got basically the same game in terms of content and mechanics.

In many ways, this game is the fulfilment of fans' fantasies of what it's like to be Spider-Man. We get our hands on a huge open city, expanded to include Brooklyn, Queens and beyond, where we use a wide range of abilities and options to take down a familiar gallery of villains. Turn 10 is truly delivering a next-generation racing game that strips away the bells and whistles to focus on the driving and the experience. You're going to drive a lot, you're going to improve, you're going to unlock new things and you're going to have fun. That's the most important thing.
