If you're a fan of the Terminator movies, there is some appeal here, even if only a little. There are even a few nods to moments from the films - like the lorry from the chase in Terminator 2 - and the mid 80s / early 90s version of future tech that appears adds to the nostalgia boost. Despite the different endings you can unlock, it's unlikely that you'll go back and replay it unless you really loved the experience.
While I was initially unsure what to expect at the game's outset, Call of Cthulhu is certainly recommended for fans of horror and mystery titles. Along with the satisfying detective work and wonderfully creepy narrative, the twists and turns in this game are quite something.
Would I recommend The Occupation? Yes. If you like real stealth and a kind of nostalgia and have a good gaming session you can dedicate to the game. It will reward you well. If you are a gamer with not much time, I am not too sure. But I certainly wouldn’t let that put you off giving it a go.
Fans of Yoshi will love it, as it is everything you would expect. Meanwhile, those who haven't taken the dinky dino for a spin before will pick this up quick enough and possibly wonder why they've never played the previous games. It is one for the collection for sure.
