7.5 / 10.0 - Death's Gambit
Jun 28, 2019

White Rabbit has done an excellent job with Death's Gambit, managing to create a good balance between soulslike and pixel art. Even if we are not in front of a perfect product, Death's Gambit is strongly recommended to all lovers of this kind of games.

7.5 / 10.0 - Close to the Sun

Storm in a Teacup did an excellent job in creating an intriguing and at the same time anxious setting, even if it's held back by shallow puzzles and pointless action sections.

The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut defines a further step forward for InXile Entertainment. The flaws are there, but it's worth playing as long as you like this genre.

7.2 / 10.0 - Blair Witch
Aug 30, 2019

Blair Witch tries to do its job but can't keep the player's attention high throughout the entire experience. Despite all that, Bloober Team put some interesting new mechanics on the plate, but the inspiration seems to get lost at the same rhythm with which Ellis's past tries to emerge.

7.2 / 10.0 - Deliver Us The Moon
Oct 25, 2019

Deliver Us the Moon manages to amalgamate the sci-fi thriller concept with a third-person adventure in an entertaining way. The gameplay structure is too basic and almost chained to the usual stylistic elements seen and revised. Unfortunately, this penalizes the final result.

Aug 4, 2020

Relicta is an intriguing puzzle-game, full of puzzles ready to squeeze our meninges without the slightest regret. The level design proves to be up to a production on the genre, although some bugs and inaccuracies end up not making it shine as it should.

The content of this DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, part of the Greymoor arc, may not satisfy in terms of content added but still manages to give a worthy ending to the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline. Markarth is essentially a piece of content that focuses on the story; you should not expect new gameplay mechanics or anything of the sort out of it. Could it have been better? That is often the case, but the hopes for ESO's future lie elsewhere.

6.8 / 10.0 - John Wick Hex
Oct 11, 2019

John Wick Hex is a game made for the franchise lovers. Since this is a minor production, there are pros and cons: there are indeed good gameplay and a good idea, but also a lack of progression and a feeling of repetition that makes you lose a little the desire to continue further.

Blind Fate: Edo no Yami in my opinion lives on lights and shadows: on the one hand it boasts fabulous ideas, honestly well recreated and described, especially in the advanced stages where the narrative also acquires a good level of maturity in the themes exposed, but to make the whole thing decay we think the stages of combat. Too bad, because Troglobytes Games has all the right cards to shine.
