GREAT - Super Mega Baseball 3 retains the wonderful gameplay from the prior game and the bottom line is that it’s just plain fun to play. The addition of franchise mode is sure to excite some gamers and this is a great iteration of the franchise to begin with. However, if you already own Super Mega Baseball 2, the price of admission may be too steep for this sequel.
EXCELLENT - Super Mega Baseball 2 has arrived on the Switch and it was totally worth the wait. It’s the best baseball game on the system, and being able to begin a season on my TV and then take it with me on the go is something I dreamed of years ago when playing RBI Baseball on the NES.
EXCELLENT - New Super Mario Brothers U Deluxe packs in a lot of content. It’s understandable to be hesitant to dive in at full price, however if you do you’ll be instantly reminded of the joy a Mario game can provide. If you haven’t played these games before it is a no brainer. Nintendo is as good as it gets in level design and control and this collection of the two Wii U games is a great reminder of this.
Jumping Joe & Friends is a simple phone game ported to the Switch. It controls well and can be fun in short bursts. Given that the Switch can be a portable system this can be a good fit depending on how you feel about these style of games. Just know that the $4.99 price point may be too high if you are looking for something with any substance to it.
