If you are still playing Destiny 2 and have a good clan then Shadowkeep is a good expansion, but then you would have probably already bought it by now if you’re a regular so you don’t need me to recommend it!  Shadowkeep isn’t a bad price if you fancy gearing up your guardian for a trip down memory lane as you run around shooting things, or to play a bit of PVP as a casual player, just don’t expect to get the good gear without putting in the hours.

Despite the technical issues and lack of prior knowledge, I enjoyed playing We. The Revolution. I wasn’t enjoying it to start with, I will admit, as the language is very of that time so it takes a while to get used to and understand what’s really happening in the cases. The bugs were particularly frustrating as they stopped me progressing just as I was really getting into the story. Yet, I did still keep coming back for more and once it’s patched I will absolutely give it another play to see the different results you get based on your choices and to get more of the trophies.

8 / 10.0 - Fade to Silence
May 25, 2019

I’m very addicted to Fade to Silence, it’s a great survival game which is very challenging yet hard to stop playing. When I die, I start over almost immediately, ready to do better on my next attempt. The Boons allow you to take a different approach and retain certain items you have previously obtained and they are not locked down once you have selected them on one play, you can totally choose different boons on each playthrough for a different strategy. If you enjoy survival games, resource and camp management, or even games with lots of lush snow, then you should definitely check it out.

4.5 / 10.0 - Generation Zero

If you miss the ’80s then Generation Zero may be the game for you, personally though I thought it was an odd choice for this style of game. It truly was a beautiful looking game which has been dragged down by the poor gameplay. Maybe if the map was smaller and more condensed then it would have appealed to me more, as well as not being as tedious and boring with the vast open nothingness.

4 / 10.0 - Lucius III
Jan 31, 2019

While I try to have respect for indie games, they are just not always to my liking. I work full time so don’t get as much gaming time as I would like and so I want to spend my time playing games I’m going to enjoy. I thought I would enjoy Lucius III as it looked like my type of game but sadly it fell short of my expectations. Basically, it’s probably one of the worst games I’ve played in a long time. The developers clearly had big ambitions for Lucius III but they were in over their heads and couldn’t deliver on their vision with their resources.
