Iceborne, the newest expansion to 2018’s Monster Hunter World builds upon the series in classic fashion, much like previous western releases in the series have. The games often released in Japan and then released in the west a year later with additional content. That is also where the expansions biggest barrier lies: You must complete the main story of Monster Hunter World to engage with Iceborne. The expansion is more difficult, introducing the master rank hunts, with more difficult monsters that will require you to put your skills to the test to overcome each new challenge.

The local co-op revolution received quite the shot in the arm when Nintendo released the Switch two and a half years ago. KILL la KILL - IF is based on the 2014 anime KILL la KILL by Studio Trigger, which received plenty of critical praise. For those unfamiliar with the series, it blends a combination of magical girl glamour and transformation (Sailor Moon) with the over the top battle and constant stakes upping of a Shounen Anime (Naruto or Dragon Ball). But unlike many anime that are turned into fighting games, KILL la KILL is comprised of a mere 24 episodes, which are expanded upon in KILL la KILL - IF.

Devolver Digital has made a reputation for themselves by publishing violent and goofy games. My Friend Pedro continues this tradition in grand fashion, as you play a nameless amnesiac on a murderous rampage, all while a floating banana named Pedro guides you on your quest, filling you in on the backstory.

The Legend of Zelda series has one of the most beloved video game scores, and for a good reason. From the sweeping melodies that play as your enter Hyrule field, the rhythmic beat of drums on death mountain, the relaxing twang of Romani Ranch, and everything in between, the music is an integral part of what makes going on an adventure in Hyrule so wonderful. Cadence of Hyrule aims to take those familiar songs and remix them into something familiar, but new and capable of delivering the signature Crypt of the NecroDancer gameplay. Does Cadence of Hyrule succeed at this? Or does it have two left feet? Read on in this Rapid Review to find out.
