The only regret is that Vaas: Insanity was not equipped with any co-op mode, although even without it it is a surprisingly successful addition, with which I had much more fun than with Far Cry 6.

8 / 10.0 - WRC 10
Sep 17, 2021

I always thought of the official WRC video games as inferior to such classics as Colin McRae Rally or Richard Burns Rally. WRC 10, however, made me reconsider my opinion as I discovered how good this game is, offering the players realistic yet newbie-friendly driving physics, a ton of content, and fantastic tracks to drive through. There are some hiccoughs on the way, i.e. annoying pop-up, occasional glitches, or empty multiplayer lobbies, but overall WRC is a great rally game, even though it is not as good as the DiRT Rally series.

8 / 10.0 - Bad Dream: Coma
Apr 25, 2021

Although Bad Dream: Coma may seem overly simplified, this little adventure game offers a phenomenal, heavy atmosphere and a rather unique story about a coma-induced patient being stuck in a nightmare.

8 / 10.0 - Chicken Police
Nov 5, 2020

That must be a single most unique game released this year. Absolutely beautiful film noir visuals and cliches mix here with Bojack Horseman-ish aesthetics mix, resulting in a fantastic game set in a fascinating world run by anthropomorphic animals.

8 / 10.0 - art of rally
Sep 25, 2020

The most beautiful rally game I have ever played. It not only looks wonderful; it also plays just as good. Under all these fantastic graphics, there is a surprisingly competent rally game offering the play many hours of fun. It might be one of the best car games of 2020.

This fantastic remake is a perfect occasion for new players to finally experience Crypto’s adventures on Earth. It is still as funny and playable as the original, but now with some stunning visuals (unless we are talking about the pedestrian models).

One of the hidden gems of the 6th generation finally got a remake allowing new players to experience what is it like to be a sponge living in a pineapple under the sea. It is a game well-needed in these trying time, distracting the players’ attention from the current problems with its wholesome atmosphere, lovably absurd humour, and beautiful visuals. It’s just F.U.N.

8 / 10.0 - 80's Overdrive
May 12, 2020

A fantastic throwback to the classics such as OutRun or Top Gear 2000 allowing the players to climb their way up to the top of the street racing league or take a virtually infinite, leisure ride in their Testarossa look-a-like car. All that to the energetic synthwave tunes flowing from the radio.

Deliver Us The Moon touches on the subject of economical footprint without being preachy about it. It lets you come up with your own conclusion while you explore an abandoned lunar base and its area seeking an answer for the disappearance of its inhabitants.

8 / 10.0 - Nioh 2
Mar 27, 2020

Nioh 2 is everything that From Software’s fans wished Sekiro to be – a Dark Souls game with a Japanese theme. Even though it has some problems and from time to time you may feel a bit tired of the repetitive missions, Nioh 2 remains both a great game and a perfect sequel.

Zombies and Hitler are generally two things that most of the people dislike, to put it mildly, and would love to kill them the first chance they got. Well, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a perfect game then, because it allows the players to do it while having a happy banter over the microphone. It is just like Zombie Army Trilogy, but better!

Pillars of Eternity II is a fantastic classic RPG and a gateway allowing the players to go back intime to much simpler times in which starting a new game meant going on a grand adventure. The beautiful, rich world of Eora, full of interesting characters and problems to solve, encapsulates that feeling, which none other game gave me for the past few years. Even though the console port has some technical issues, it is still a perfectly fine version of the game now to enjoy on your big TV.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York is a fantastic story about a young vampire trying to figure out how to live in the dark world of the constant masquerade. A great game full of captivating side stories , the main problem of which is its length.

8.5 / 10.0 - Olija
Jan 30, 2021

Olija is a proof that love stories do not need dialogue. It is quite impressive how well this game shows characters’ emotions in spite of its stylistic choices. It is also a rather fun, albeit not too challenging, slasher with some fantastic boss fights.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Medium
Jan 28, 2021

The Medium stays close to Bloober Team’s roots, strongly resembling a walking sim rather than a survival horror. Nonethelles, The Medium feels like a spiritual successor to Silent Hill with its eerie atmosphere of an abandoned hotel near Cracow, and visual ripped straight from Zdzisław Beksiński’s paintings. For the Polish players, it will also take them on a nostalgic trip to 1990’s Poland.

8.5 / 10.0 - Tell Me Why
Oct 11, 2020

Tell Me Why tells one of the most mature stories in gaming. It touches on the topics of domestic violence and transgenderism in an incredibly tactful way, creating a world where no character is morally black or white. Unlike in most of Dontnod’s games, there’s almost no fantastical elements to the game, making the story and gameplay surprisingly grounded in reality. Don’t expect much action here, Tell Me Why focuses on its character. The most action-packed moments were a plushie fight and a fishing minigame.

Shadows Die Twice is an absolutely fantastic title that evokes associations with such, somewhat forgotten classics as the Tenchu series.

This is by far one of the best, if not the best visual novel I have played in my gaming career. Meaningful choices, engaging story, beautiful artwork supported by atmospheric music – it all makes Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest a fantastic game. It is such a shame it is such a short experience, but thanks to its impressive replayability, its shortness does not hurt as much.
