75 / 100 - Relicta
Aug 4, 2020

Relicta is a very good puzzle game that will keep us glued to the chair squeezing our heads, with a pretty careful visual section, in addition. A certain repetition and lack of rhythm in some sections of the story and a certain "trap" with the scenarios take away points from a game that, in any case, is essential if we are fans of the genre. Homeland product, in addition.

65 / 100 - FAIRY TAIL
Aug 6, 2020

Porting FAIRY TAIL to JRPG format is not a bad idea. Both the guild system and the characters themselves lend themselves to it, which, spiced up with a good battle system -like the one the game offers- could have ended up offering the fan a great game. Unfortunately, whether it's due to budget problems or anything else, the game feels half-hearted, with tons of unmodeled characters and extremely repetitive enemies and missions. A failed opportunity that, even so, entertains the 15 hours it lasts.

In Death: Unchained is a great addition to the roguelite genre for our Oculus Quest. With much more content than its older brother, perhaps its biggest flaws are the limited variety of environments, the imbalance between its two main weapons, and the need to farm to gain new abilities. Even so, if you are a fan of the genre and virtual reality, it is a must. In nothing you will be shooting arrows like a madman.

Crusader Kings III is not a revolution compared to the second installment. But it is a good evolution. Crusader Kings III is Paradox's masterpiece. It still has some flaws that already had the second part, and is possibly less complete, in content, than the second part with all the DLCs. But it can be said that CK3 vanilla is much more than CK2 vanilla. And the additions such as the house system, the new way of managing the baronies or the perks in the lifestyles are very good additions, in addition to a total visual redesign, with a friendly interface for the new player. Highly recommended. And more knowing that, even without the need to buy paid expansions, Paradox will maintain the game with regular updates.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will not go down in history as a great football arcade. But the staunch fan will recall nostalgic afternoons with the spin shot or the tiger shot, which are spectacular in the game. Perhaps the mechanics of having to "tire" the goalkeeper will become somewhat repetitive in the long run, but it is a totally enjoyable game.

100 / 100 - Factorio
Sep 8, 2020

Factorio will delight lovers of optimization lines. Point. With an extensive offering of modes, bomb-proof gameplay, and the ability to alter the game through mods, little more could be asked of the folks at Wube Software.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a must for the fan of good science fiction stories. Point. A good plot, with some great twists, spiced up with charismatic and well-defined characters spice up a mix of visual novel with tactical strategy that works. Perhaps more use of ramifications to add replayability and a greater variety of objectives in battles would have turned a practically outstanding game into a masterpiece. Still, its 30-hour duration will make you not regret your purchase.

Doraemon: Story of Seasons is a good crossover between the cosmic cat franchise and the developers of the Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons saga. We will not see anything that we have not seen already, and possibly at the farm management level it is below the competition, but a very careful artistic style and the possibility of playing with Nobita's license and his own make a game that little by little that hooks us will give us many hours of fun.

75 / 100 - Port Royale 4
Sep 25, 2020

Port Royale 4 is a remarkable management game and a nice continuation of the saga. Unfortunately, some design decisions tarnish a game that could have been a worthy heir to the yet to be surpassed Port Royale 2.

70 / 100 - Knight Swap
Oct 16, 2020

Knight Swap is a remarkable game that uses the movements of the knight?s piece in chess to make puzzles with it, with boards with a variable number of squares. Its low price makes it a very interesting game.

70 / 100 - Knight Swap 2
Oct 28, 2020

This is an extremely continuous sequel to Knight Swap, so much so that it could be considered the second half of the same game. Still, this mixture of chess and movement puzzles can appeal to those who like to rack their brains with visual puzzles. Its low price helps to do so.

65 / 100 - Clea
Nov 2, 2020

Clea is a good game, small and short, but one that will appeal to horror lovers. Its well-achieved setting - great 3D sound - and its replayability will make us return to it from time to time even after passing it to us. Some design decisions may cloud the end result, yes. Still a nice addition to the Nintendo Switch catalog.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a great chapter in the Yakuza saga, and Ichiban is a good heir to Kiryu. Perhaps the change of gameplay to JRPG will put back some veterans of the saga, but Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has tried to develop dynamic combats not leave a break for the player. Being a reboot of the series, it's a good entry point for new players, too.

65 / 100 - Fight Crab
Nov 20, 2020

Fight Crab is a crazy crab battle simulator -yes, as it sounds-, which will allow us to fight against giant crabs in the middle of different scenarios with all kinds of gadgets, from a lightsaber to a scooter. Interesting if one is a fan of absurd adventures. But if we want to go deeper into the game, Fight Crab hides a really deep gameplay that can make us do real atrocities if we are creative.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a great adventure game. With some really charismatic supporting characters, and very varied levels, it is a totally recommended game if we are fans of this type of proposal, rounded off by some excellent graphic and sound sections.

Bluepoint once again offers us another impressive remake, perhaps its most ambitious proposal yet. With spectacular graphics, and the typical gameplay of the saga, perhaps it is missed a little that it has not tried to go beyond the original. Even so, an unmissable work that alone can justify the purchase of a PlayStation 5.

80 / 100 - Stirring Abyss
Dec 14, 2020

In Stirring Abyss the abyss will be an enemy in itself that we will have to defeat, fighting to maintain body and mind. If we are fans of the genre of turn-based strategy, and we are interested in the Lovecraftian narrative, it is a must.

70 / 100 - Neon City Riders
Dec 18, 2020

Neon City Riders is a remarkable game full of small tributes to the 90s, which will delight veteran players. Without being excellent, it is more than enough to give us 12-15 hours of fun.

This is a tough simulator, which as such, we understand that it does not have to be fun in some cases. But even so, it needs more to make us feel that we are in the skin of a member of a fire department
