Primarily meant for mobile devices, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD suffers from several gameplay and graphical elements that otherwise made it a PSP success.

Grey Goo is a novel real-time strategy game that attempts to emulate the luster and wonder of the Command and Conquer series. With sloppy mechanics, a less-than-inspiring plot, and a mixed bag campaign, it falls short of this goal. Nevertheless, for those looking to play something other than StarCraft II, you may want to give it a try.

Life is Strange: Chaos Theory moves the series' plot forward, if awkwardly at times. The third chapter makes up for the weak decisions players have to make by maintaining a superb production quality and delving into increasingly mature issues.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is a solid addition to the Borderlands franchise that brings refreshing gameplay and new characters to the table. While not reinventing the wheel, it still manages to keep you entertained for hours on end—an experience that is all the more enjoyable when played in co-op mode.

Assassin's Creed: Unity suffers from a stale plot, occasionally intolerable gameplay mechanics, and the lack of novelty when compared to other titles in the Assassin's Creed franchise. Nevertheless, its superior graphics, wonderful sense of atmosphere, and replay value prevent it from being a flop.

Bayonetta 2 does a great job of capturing the essence of what made the Devil May Cry series great and delivers some of the best action and production value you'll find in any given Wii U game. While the game does suffer from its short length and lack of replay options, it will delight you with its engaging combat and unique setting.

Life is Strange: Dark Room does a masterful job at bringing us to the finale, and it currently stands out as the best chapter in the series. While some may find fault in the shallow gameplay mechanics and the absence of multiple choices, the plot more than makes up for it, leaving us anticipating the last chapter with great excitement.
