Ciel Fledge has an interesting concept. It keeps you motivated to play one ingame week after another for quite a few hours. However, it fails to deliver the surprises that you're expecting. What remains is an interesting setting and many good stories but major parts of the gameplay, like the combat, remain dull.

Kandagawa Jet Girls is a bit like a playable anime: It's enjoyable and delivers surprisingly many insights into Japanese culture. As a game, it's very light and, above all, very easy.

68 / 100 - LONE RUIN
Jan 11, 2023

In its basic structure, Lone Ruin is an easy game - which doesn't mean that any trip to its lone ruins will be easy. This might be a game for people that usually don't like roguelikes because I found the game to be more accessible than many others. It is, however, also quite repetitive and not every part of it is perfect.

I'm not exactly sure whom Persona 5 Strikers has been tailored for. Personally, I wasn't impressed.

68 / 100 - Tiny Racer
Aug 3, 2020

Tiny Racer is a nice little game to play now and then. It's fun, hard, a little bit frustrating from times to times but still fair. There are some technical issues and the courses are rather flat. The focus of the game is the fun to steer a toy car - apart from that, there's not too many great things about the game. All in all, the name says it all.

70 / 100 - Diablo IV
Sep 7, 2023

For me as a fan of Diablo III, Blizzard's new title is a dream come true and a nightmare at the same time. Diablo IV features a great core of gameplay but the Battle Pass structures and seasonal features somehow let it down. Even the main campaign lacks true excitement unfortunately.

Fitness Boxing 2 is a competent fitness program to workout every day. It's a pity that the moves are not correctly detected and that there are a few technical issues. I've been using Fitness Boxing 2 for a few months now though and am really satisfied with it.

70 / 100 - A Memoir Blue
Aug 22, 2022

In A Memoir Blue, you play a dream and that's what stays: It's a very short experience, telling a good story with a very important topic. But it's over so fast it might not stick in your memory as well as it should.

70 / 100 - Stray
Jul 24, 2022

Stray has a great world and it is superb that the everyday life and actions of a cat is key to success here. The game could be much more wholesome than it is, however. And as a wholesome game, I would've like it more. Fighting and stealth passages are the weakest in the game.

Adults may only find an easy platinum trophy and approximately three hours of solid fun in this game. For children though, it's good open-world racing as it should be!

70 / 100 - Chorus
Dec 3, 2021

Chorus brings back a lot of elements from games from the past that I loved. But just as many elements that I didn't want to see ever again. I see the game's qualities and think you could like it, in the end, I didn't really.

70 / 100 - Taxi Chaos

Taxi Chaos is a solid Crazy Taxi revival but it lacks quite a bit of content and motivation.

70 / 100 - Windbound
Aug 28, 2020

The central roguelite mechanic of the game is the weakest one and most frustrating - when you turn it off, Windbound is an enjoyable experience that's just held back by technical flaws. The story, however, partly makes up for that and Windbound has moments with the most remarking atmosphere.

I will remember this world for quite a while due to its closeness to Journey, but the experience as such will soon begin to fade.

Need for Speed Unbound is the best new Need for Speed in recent years - which means it is a solid, yet not great arcade racing game.

72 / 100 - LEGO Bricktales
Oct 11, 2022

LEGO Bricktales overall is an enjoyable adventure in well-designed LEGO worlds. The central element though, the building, could not fully convince me due to its clunky controls.

72 / 100 - Potion Permit
Sep 21, 2022

Potion Permit nearly is the wholesome game that I was looking for but not quite. I love Moonbury and all its stories. There are those weird bugs all over the game though. And also, I spend more time cutting trees than healing my patients. The grind in this game is unbelievable and nearly absurd. And still, I have a lot of fun - just because of Moonbury and the great stories it tells.

Hot Wheels Unleashed is a solid, yet not spectacular racing experience. It relies a lot on its community and upcoming DLC.

Road to Guangdong left me impressed with its atmosphere and the family story told - while its gameplay never gets boring but remains rather shallow. The game is a good choice for an evening of relaxing and atmospheric entertainment but doesn't have enough fuel for the longer term.

73 / 100 - Lost in Random

I'm deeply fascinated by the setting and the characters I can meet here but the world and the technical side of the game cannot hold up.
