Horizon Chase Turbo – Senna Forever is, by all means, an unusual DLC. Released a whopping 3 years after the base game, long after the core support of the game seemed to be over, it offers a level of content, detail, and fun that practically dwarves the already fun original title’s ambitions.
In Sound Mind is an ambitious horror title that throws us into real nightmares, giving life to highly varied situations but lacking in the horror component, with a few really scary situations and some gameplay design choices leading to monotony rather than tension. Despite this, it remains an interesting product with a good longevity, deserving the attention of fans of the genre.

BPM: Bullets Per Minute is one of the most exhilarating shooter experiences I’ve had recently, thanks to fast gameplay, varied gunfights, and a high skill ceiling to aim for via the many runs the players will inevitably go through.
Turtle Rock Studios managed to successfully resurrect the original Left 4 Dead games formula, improving it with modern shooter mechanics, very fun gunplay and a lot of variety thanks to the new card system. It's not a very innovative game and it's got some technical and balancing issues, but it can be damn fun and addictive.

A Juggler's Tale takes inspiration from classics like Limbo and INSIDE while adding the concept of puppet strings, resulting not only in never-before-seen gameplay situations but also a memorable, deep and emotional storyline.

Sonic Colours Ultimate isn't too convincing as a remaster, but it's still one of the best Sonic games of the last two decades. It doesn't fix the shortcomings of the first game and it also introduces some bugs and balancing issues, but it remains fun and spectacular; it' recommended especially to those who have never played the original.

Splitgate comes very close to plagiarizing Halo, and its presentation is not without flaws; nevertheless, the excellent gameplay execution and the addition of portals, introducing an additional layer of tacticality, work great resulting in a damn fun game. Its current popularity is definitely deserved, and we are eager to see how the title will evolve in the future.

Rustler manages to entertain by replicating the style of play of the first top-down GTAs, but turning everything to a medieval setting. Some elements of the gameplay could have been more refined, but the Jutsu Games title shows that this formula can still work and entertain even today.

The general presentation remains fairly dated, however, and the lack of depth and event variety don't allow it to compete with titles such as the DIRT franchise, which offers even derivates of rally such as rallycross or gymkhana. It's a fun and respectful title that deserves to hold the WRC license, but there are still things to iron out.
Song of Iron offers us a fascinating and cinematic world, capable of effectively evoking the world of the Vikings and their mythology, but it counter-balances this with some technical issues and a bit too rough combat system, making the experience inconsistent and frustrating at times. I would however still recommend it, primarily to enthusiasts of Norse culture.

Skydrift Infinity doesn't want to revolutionize its genre, but this kind of Mario Kart of the skies is nevertheless always fast, adrenalinic and fun, with a good artistic sense and a decent variety for several hours of heart-pounding races.

RiMS Racing has a heart in the right place, wanting to offer a solid biking simulation that offers an in-depth look into every last piece of the bike and how they all come together on the asphalt. Unfortunately, an unimpressive driving model, various undercooked game features, and a severe lack of content don’t allow Nacon’s newest title to quite compete with the competition, but it does work as a statement of intent if not else: there’s a new player in town, and if the developers manage to iron out the issues, there’ll be plenty of fun to have for bike enthusiasts. As of now, however, there are much better options around, even just on Xbox.
The talented guys at Antab Studio managed to build with limited resources a futuristic and stylistically appealing adventure, a well made and memorable one. It might not be too original and it's got some unpleasant difficulty spikes, but Foreclosed lets us pleasantly play it until the end credits, capturing us in his comic dystopian world.

Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - The Official Video Game, like most titles focusing on so many completely different gameplay loops and styles, falls short on truly delivering in any of them. The sheer variety of the twenty different sports presented, the rush of adrenaline of some of the shorter modes, solid online performance, and good presentation makes it a pleasant enough title for fans of the world's most famous torch.
Scarlet Nexus hits a lot of high notes in its lengthy double-story, spanning almost 50 hours of content. An exciting futuristic world, a surprising and great story, excellent combat, lovely artstyle. What’s not to love? Bandai Namco’s new IP is one of the most interesting JRPGs to come out in a long while, and while it’s certainly not perfect, we’re really looking forward to seeing more of this intriguing franchise in the future.
Subnautica: Below Zero offers a more immediate, accessible and complete gaming experience compared to the first chapter of the saga, providing a more impactful and suitable title for those who do not like too dispersive survival games. To succeed in this, however, many aspects of the original title have been simplified, resulting in a less meaty and varied game. A different experience then, but worth the effort.

F1 2021 is not the game that will convince those unsatisfied of Codemasters’ approach to the pinnacle of motorsport, as most of the changes seen in this title are iterative. Braking Point, however, is almost worth the price of admission alone, despite feeling slightly undercooked in some aspects: the narrative, the presentation and tension are truly great, and Codemasters’ first attempt at delivering an actual story mode is worthy of praise. Also, a long list of quality-of-life changes and further customizations offered to players makes F1 2021 perhaps the most accessible and complete Formula 1 experience by Codemasters thus far. The jump to the new generation of consoles isn’t particularly noticeable, aside from the 120fps mode, but Electronic Arts’ long-running expertize in sports games is starting to show its fruits on Codemasters’ 13th attempt to bring Formula 1 to consoles, after the British studio’s acquisition by the American colossus. It’s an exciting Formula 1 season, and the future of the videogame version of the sport is in excellent hands.
Cosmic Top Secret is a fascinating, unique and surreal title that immerses us in the secrets of the Cold War in Denmark, all with a personal and intimate narrative. It's not a game without flaws and it's certainly not for everyone, but it's definitely worth a try for those looking for something that's out of the box.

REKT! High Octane Stunts is a cheap and immediate game, without much depth and variety but fun enough to work as a casual filler when we aren't in the mood for more demanding games.

If the developers manage to increase the variety and fix the few shortcomings it has, we’re potentially looking at one of the multiplayer hits of the next few years. It’s a bit dangerously low on content for it to last, so they need to act quick to deliver. Ball’s on their court now!
