Hellboy Web of Wyrd is a flawed game, from countless visual bugs to a clunky dodge, but the thing is that despite all this, the combat and overall package makes it one of the more fun titles I've played this year.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is an incredible return to form to the 2D format, having coupled the usual great platforming gameplay with some of the most creative ideas in the genre in years, although the badge system was a bit undercooked it's still a step in the right direction.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a worthy entry in the series, boasting an amazing narrative and fantastic traversal options that truly immerse the player in the world Insomniac has created, although some setbacks, namely in the stealth department bring the game down a bit.

Ghostrunner II is a frenetic and tremendously enjoyable FPS that builds upon everything that made its predecessor great and introduces some amazing mechanics that keep it all satisfying, and above all fun, although the motorcycle sections and some minor bugs dragged the experience a little bit it's still an easy recommendation for fans of the genre.

Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways is a fun expansion, having us control Ada and her numerous gadgets, that also comes at a reduced price, making it an easy recommendation for those who want more RE4.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon is another amazing game by From Software that makes controlling these mechs a treat, especially in combat where there's countless options on offer, making the replay value really high although I wish there was more incentive to explore the different areas we come across.

Viewfinder explores an interesting concept that greatly uses perspective to build entertaining puzzles that do some really interesting things, but in the end I left the experience with the feeling that more could have been done, and some of the new mechanics introduced towards the end don't really get to shine.

Final Fantasy XVI certainly excels in spectacle, boasting superb boss fights with a great combat system and narrative, but the quieter moments outside of those big scenes end up mostly uninteresting and boring with RPG elements that feel mostly inconsequential.

Street Fighter 6 is a masterclass in the fighting game genre, with exciting new mechanics and characters that make the fights even more fun, even though the story mode drags a bit too much in the later half, hurting an otherwise great addition to the series.

Humanity is a great puzzle adventure that uses different mechanics to keep the experience challenging and fresh, with each chapter being quite varied, but towards the end some of that diversity works against it, becoming a bit uneven.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed finishes this saga with a compelling story coupled with amazing fights elevated by a great combat system, although the new AP system can be a bit divisive it's still heavily recommended to any longtime Xenoblade fan.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an incredible game, boasting a great story coupled with top notch combat and rich worlds to explore, unfortunately its technical state is so dire I can't recommend it at all for the time being.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is a technical masterpiece, possibly the best looking game right now, but as an expansion it plays way too safe with no meaningful improvements and ends up a bit forgettable due to it.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is a really fun metroidvania and a possible new franchise in the making but dragged down by an awful map system that does more harm than good.

Resident Evil 4 is an incredible remake, with some of the best gameplay in the genre and lots of improvements compared to the original but a wonky aiming system on controller and some changes leave to be desired.

Wo Long is definitely a good Soulslike, with addicting combat and epic encounters, but an uneven parry and level design drag the experience down.

While adding some wonderful modes like Merry Magoland and the Magolor Epilogue, Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe leaves a lot to be desired with its shallow and boring level design carried over from an ok 12 year old game, not justifying it's full price.

Hi-Fi Rush is a beautiful cel shaded game that mixes the hack and slash genre with music and rhythmic actions, and while it falters a bit with the pacing and has some frustrating sequences, it's a delight from start to finish, one I just couldn't put down.
