Nexomon is a monster taming adventure that takes clear inspiration from the Pokémon series. I played as a child on her journey to save the world from an evil team. In this case, the Nexolord intends on destroying the world and reviving the Omnicron, an ancient deity known to bring demise to all humans. In concept, it seems like Pokémon titles I have played before. Is it worthwhile? Find out in this Rapid Review.

Despite having now played playing countless platforming gauntlets for the site, each one leaves a lasting impact on me. Dojoran was certainly no exception here. Does the low price point mean the game is of low quality? Find out in this Rapid Review.

Aeon Drive is a high-octane speed-running platformer. I played as Jackelyne (Jack) and travelled through the same thirty seconds repeatedly, trying to rebuild my rocket ship. This gameplay loop seems tedious, but each thirty-second period takes place on a different level, making each period different from the last. Is this race against time worth your effort? After playing multiple high-octane adventures, I took a step back on my adventures with Hoa. Instead of incentivizing challenging endeavours or tricky puzzles, Hoa encapsulates natural beauty and fulfilling adventures. Does this offer a breath of fresh air? Or was I looking for something more rewarding? Find out in this Rapid Review.

After playing Dojoran, I was inspired to continue playing games with minimal colour palettes. Apple Slash stood out to me, and I eagerly partook on this adventure. Is this title a cut above the rest? Find out in this Rapid Review.

Each year, as Halloween approaches, developers release spooky titles celebrating the scariest holiday of the year. As someone who typically avoids horror games, I never rush to pick these games up. However, this year, DUSK caught my eye. Even though I had goosebumps the whole way through, I was pleasantly surprised by the fluid controls, multiple difficulty settings, and a variety of weapons. Does this set it above the rest? Or is it a rotten trick? Find out in this Rapid Review.

After getting encapsulated in the wonderful yet horrific world of DUSK, I decided to play something different. Sheepo is a very calming, therapeutic experience. Instead of blasting through hordes of enemies, I learned to carefully manoeuvre the world around me and manipulate the enemies to act under my command. Did the passive gameplay leave me counting sheep? Or did I enjoy this mission? Find out in this Rapid Review.

My Singing Monsters is a popular mobile game focused on collecting monsters that when put together, make a lovely melody. When I heard they were making the spin-off party game, My Singing Monsters Playground, I was incredibly intrigued. I was looking forward to traditional party game features enhanced by the innovative and unique music that I enjoyed listening to in the original title. Does My Singing Monsters Playground deserve a standing ovation? Or did I leave early? Find out in this Rapid Review.

Super Magbot is a precision platformer with one simple caveat. The main character cannot jump. Instead, he leverages the power of magnetism. Does this simple concept keep me attached the whole way through? Or was I repulsed? Find out in this Rapid Review.

Tunnel of Doom is a unique take on the roguelike genre. It is a top-down two-dimensional dungeon crawler combined with tower defence. Before enemies start swarming each room, I was able to build defences with the resources I had accumulated throughout my adventure. Is this mashup of genres exciting enough to stand out in a sea of roguelikes? Find out in this Rapid Review.

The Procession to Calvary is a point-and-click adventure title that is rude, crude, and lewd. It focuses on providing a comedic story, yet it stands out from other similar titles by taking inspiration from Renaissance artwork. Is Renaissance the new pixel-art? Find out in this Rapid Review.

Obakeidoro is a party game that is based on the traditional Japanese game Keidoro (also like the American game Manhunt). In Keidoro, there are two roles: police and thief. Obakeidoro takes this principle and expands upon it. Instead of thieves and police, I got to play as either monsters or people. It is still a tag game, and I had to evade or chase my enemies based on my assigned role. Did this title have me sitting on the edge of my seat orr was I ready to walk away? Circa Infinity is a platformer that feels unique yet so familiar at the same time. Each level involves getting to the centre of a circle filled with enemies. Watching the enemies swirl around me was hypnotic, and it stood out from the other platformers in the genre because it focused so heavily on aesthetics. Did their decision pay off?
