Time Guard - The Red Menace brings only minimal changes to the graphics in comparison to the original version from 2002, but it tries to attract new players with many simplifications, which, however, do not discourage die-hard fans. I don't regret returning to this installment, but after playing it I still feel that the game would have benefited more from a full-fledged remaster.

After years of waiting for the revival of the Command & Conquer franchise, Tempest Rising has been developed, brilliantly reworked popular game mechanics, added new and original ideas, and laid the foundations for a new universe and brand. Aside from a few small things, this is a great game that will hopefully grow further.

Dollhouse: Behind the Broken Mirror is an action horror adventure game, that doesn't come with anything original. Game processing is quite weak, the technical aspect acts outdated and overall, you get the feeling that you are getting a half-finished product, which development has been greatly accelerated.

Chorus of Carcosa may look impressive at first glance, but it lacks any originality. The story is chaotic, artificially stretched and individual aspects are mediocre at best. The only attraction is the affordable price.

Atomfall is quite a pleasant surprise and serves almost everything even better than originally expected. The disadvantage may be the relatively small playing area, but it could turn into a big advantage in the end.

Civilization VII brings many changes to the series, in great manner related to simplification. Leaders have a main role in the game, and history has been reduced to three eras. Step aside from history, the cluttered interface, the poor optimalization or the high price don't help the game at all, too.

Sniper Elite: Resistance does not contain too much innovation in comparison to a previous game in this series. Someone can claim that this game is more like expansion than standalone game. SE: Resistance provides a new story with new SOE agent. Alas, used game engine looks little outdated, but game is still quite funny and interesting. For fans of this series it is an instant choice, mostly because SE: Resistance is part of Xbox Game Pass subscription from day one of its release.

Omens of Destruction introduces three new legendary nobles in separate mini DLCs. However, the content is quite limited and the DLCs bring very little news compared to the price. Overall, this is a weaker expansion that will probably only appeal to core fans.

Forgotten but Unbroken is an ambitious game that kind of overestimated its capabilities. It offers a variety of game elements and mechains, but some are so overcomplicated that they quickly turn monotonous. Nevertheless, it is a very decent game by Slovak standards, and it can definitely compete with the genre competition.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 offers a very impressive campaign, returns to the original concept of Zombie mode and, of course, adds some welcome additions to the multiplayer. If you are a fan of this series, you're already in. However, if you haven't had the chance to dabble in it too much just yet, don't be afraid to try this entry.

The remake of the legendary Silent Hill 2 faced a difficult task to not fall short of the original, and it succeeded. You can enjoy the original story, without fear, in a new graphics coat and with modern game mechanics, which don't do anything to ruin the experience.

MechWarriors 5: Clans abandons its roots and leans more towards arcade-style gameplay. And that's not a bad thing, but fans of the brand probably won't be super pleased.

The Star Wars: Bounty Hunter remaster doesn't bring much new to the table compared to the original. The changes are minimal, the optimization at least on PC is poor and there are various bugs. However, if you're a fan of the universe or just looking for a little adrenaline rush, go for it.

Crime Boss: Rockay City didn't get off to the best of starts. The lack of content and many bugs sank the game and not even the stellar cast saved it at the time. However, the developers didn't give up and kept working on the game, and the current marketing strategy coupled with a price cut and promises for the future might attract new players.

Thrones of Decay is more varied than Shadows of Change due to its two campaigns that cover nations that didn't have them previously. But as usually, the DLC is mostly aimed at hardcore fans.

Classified: France '44 is an excellent combination of XCOM's mechanics and the World War 2 setting, and offers plenty of replayability to boot.

Skull and Bones simply failed to follow on the success of Black Flag. It's a watered down version of a good game with insane amount of meaningless fluff. The years of development were simply not worth it.

Legion Tales definitely isn't a cheaply made DLC for a quick buck, but a full-fledged experience worth buying and playing.

War Hospital does indeed offer a new, unique perspective on World War I, but it's lacking in several aspects. There's plenty of technical issues and janky mechanics, and the story kind of falls flat.

The story and themes Last Train Home are gripping, creative, and well realized. It can't replace history lessons, but it offers dozens of hours of quality entertainment.
