Obsidian's smaller but more ambitious fantasy RPG offers a good dose of fun. Its unique visuals and characters ideally complete the atmosphere. However, the downside of Avowed is the static world and NPCs.

If you enjoy adventures with hidden objects and don't crave complex puzzles, Leila is an ideal short narrative of a much more mature nature than we are used to in the genre. However, it's a disappointingly rushed narrative whose emotions don't have the power they should have.

THEMIS looks a bit embarrassing because of the problems that keep it down. However, it does at least offer varied, fairly well-designed levels and a high enough difficulty level to challenge the logical thinking of players.

Chorus of Carcosa may look impressive at first glance, but it lacks any originality. The story is chaotic, artificially stretched and individual aspects are mediocre at best. The only attraction is the affordable price.

Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog is a love letter sci-fi anime from the last century. Fans of the retro will definitely be pleased with the story and the visuals, too. However, it will definitely not please them with its ending, which opens the door for a necessary sequel.

Split Fiction offers the essence of pure gameplay with a lot of original ideas. Alas, it's a shame that the whole game is wrapped up in a not very interesting story. The constant alternation between sci-fi and fantasy worlds is equally inventive, but at the same time a bit tiresome.

Civilization VII brings many changes to the series, in great manner related to simplification. Leaders have a main role in the game, and history has been reduced to three eras. Step aside from history, the cluttered interface, the poor optimalization or the high price don't help the game at all, too.

BrokenLore: LOW is a very short but otherwise remarkable psychological horror game, which plays with the player's perception and mind. It also combines symbolism and surrealism. However, only further stories will tell if it becomes a cult classic and captivate enthusiasts of this genre or quickly fade into oblivion.
