Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath is the biggest update for the game yet. It adds three hours to the already epic storyline and next to that three great characters, Sheeva, Fujin and RoboCop. Next to the new story and characters the bloodshed can be varied in new levels with stage fatalities of in a more peaceful matter with a friendship. The only real downside to the content is the price. If you already have the game and other DLC this is a pretty steap deal. Otherwise, this is the moment to step in the game.

With this first set of DLC Rebellion kicks off the Season Pass in a stylish way. New characters, new weapons and a free new Horde map to enjoy. The most important thing is off course the new Story mission Terror Lab. It offers everything fans could hope for en sets the bar high for things to come. Still, the pack is nog flawless. The Horde map is an existing map and the Sailor doesn't add up to the other characters.

8 / 10.0 - Nioh 2
Mar 17, 2020

Nioh 2 is a challenging game which either makes you blood boil or makes oyu incredible happy. There is no in between. The game is bigger, better and bolder than it's predecessor with more enemies, more regions and more challenges along the way. It is a must have for those who like a challenge and a must avoid for those who can't stand losing. Because you will lose a lot eventually.

8 / 10.0 - EQQO
Mar 7, 2020

EQQO is a fun puzzlegame that lets you enjoy a strong story about a boy and an egg. The game features more than 30 levels, but takes only four hours to complete. The puzzles are not difficult except a few of them. Because of this the game never makes you think too long before proceding through a level. Still EQQO is a game you should definitely try!

Although the loading times do not really throw a spanner in the works, Capcom must do something about it. In addition, it would testify to fan service if the game is enriched with the fighters who are still missing. Just like the previous edition of the game, the Champion Edition is worth buying, unless you already have blisters and (digitally) bleeding knuckles. Then you have probably already played the most with your in-game money.

Darksiders Genesis brings a new perspective tot the franchise. The fourth horseman is not alone. He brought his brother War for some co-op fun! The game is the most fun together, chopping up enemies and solving the puzzels. But alone you can navigate through hell and the story as well. The levels are not that special, but the fighting makes up for it. There are tons of moves and skills to unlcock to keep you playing way beyond the 15 hours the story takes to complete

Zombie Army finally has it's own face as the graphics are a lot better than its predecessors and there are a lot of new elements. You get to fight zombies in new areas, battle new enemies and get the best experience when slaughtering zombies with some good old-fashioned co-op gameplay. The only real downside is the reduced possibility for sniping.

7 / 10.0 - Lydia
Jan 26, 2020

Lydia is a game with two faces. One face tells you a compelling story about the heavy subject of alcoholism from the perspective of a child. The other face is a game that is short and doesn't keep the pace how it should. As a package it offers an interesting hour to spend, especially for the very low price it comes at.

Zombieland Double Tap was a great movie. The game with the subtitle Roadtrip is not so great. It's upsides are the co-op for four players and it's short levels. Unfortunately there are a lot of downsides. The game is way too short and doesn't always save your progress. Next to that the game never gets really interesting. This could be way better.

Life is Strange 2 is a worthy sequel to both Life is Strange and Before the Storm. The game can't compete with either of them, but makes for a good third game. The story of Sean and Daniel is compelling and keeps you interested. Although there is a quiet episode in the middle of the story and not everything makes the impact you expect.

The conclusion of the Life is Strange 2 season is a great one. It answers all the questions you have and goes out with a bang. All of the seven endings are emotional and worthy to the season. The epic journey of Sean and Daniel is a great one and your choices really matter in the end. DONTNOD once again delivered a great season!

5.5 / 10.0 - Shenmue III
Nov 27, 2019

Finally Shenmue 3 is here. After 18 years Ryo's story continues. But the third chapter feels more like an enourmous sidemission than the continuation of the story. The game looks great and plays away like a modern game, while staying true to the first two parts. Sadly enough there are some big frustrations like the mandatory eating and making a lot of money to continue the story. For fans this is a must play, but others don't miss out if they skip this one.

7 / 10.0 - The Stretchers
Nov 18, 2019

The Stretchers is a fun game when you play it together. If you play alone the controls will annoy you within a half hour. WIth only 4 hours of gameplay it's somewhat short, but the element of score makes you want to play missions again and again. For only 20 euros this is a game to try in between the bigger releases.

Katrielle's adventure makes your brain work for progress on the Switch. With 40 new puzzles the game is the largest Layton game yet. The game is ported fantastically for the Switch and has never looked as great as this before. A definite must buy!

7 / 10.0 - Blair Witch
Oct 3, 2019

Blair Witch makes you feel desperately lost in the forest at times, while giving you a new story in the series. It starts out well with a good tension, but this dims down a bit later on. Luckily only to build up to a scary ending. A good game to play in between the blockbusters of the fall.

Episode 4 is not like the others. This episode focuses on solitude, reflection and reconnection. It features some exiting moments but they come too late. Still. A good setup for a great ending.

5 / 10.0 - Rad
Sep 19, 2019

RAD is a cool game on paper. Unfortunately the fact is that the game falls short on a lot of areas. The worlds are a bit too small, lack diversity and cleared within a few hours. Still it's a fun game to try in between the big titles of the fall.

5 / 10.0 - Daemon X Machina
Sep 11, 2019

Daemon X Machina has its ups and downs, with some amazing action and an impressive amount of weapons. Unfortunately the worlds are completely empty and it is not strong in the graphical department.

Man of Medan is the first of The Dark Pictures. The game has all the elements of horror to keep you up at night. Still there are some flaws in the acting, but nothing serious. IF you want to get scared of a game, this is a must buy.
