The iconic Mortal Kombat franchises spans more than 30 years already, but stills knows how to deliver a solid fighting game. They proof that with the soft reboot that is Mortal Kombat 1. Story mode and some new, intuitive fighting mechanics carry this installment, even though as a whole it's not as 'meaty' as its predecessor.

UFC 4 is the best MMA game to date, but that's partly because of a lack of competition from other developers. As is to be expected from a game that's part of a series, EA doesn't invent the wheel but improves gradually on its own formula. The evolution points, career mode, clinch possibilities and some other new features are nice, but is it enough to justify its price tag? We doubt it.

Milestone delivers the best MotoGP game to date, but the improvements that come with every iteration form a slow process. For every two steps forward, there is one step backward. This game has much to offer content-wise and the gameplay is solid enough Unfortunately, weird AI glitches, inconsistent quality of the graphics and the sounds of the bikes occasionally get in the way of experiencing the thrill that is MotoGP.

GRID is a let down for fans of the old games unfortunately. The game combines some of the core aspects of its predecessors, but fails to deliver a complete and exciting experience. It lacks content and variation and gets old quick in comparison to other recent race games.
