STALKER 2 isn't perfect and has some problems that aren't easy to fix, but it still delivers big time when it comes to its gameplay and graphics.

The PC-port of Returnal fixes one of the biggest issues of the Playstation-version; not being able to safely quit the game without losing progress. In keeps its smooth combat, even with a mouse and keyboard and allows the graphics too be even better on modern hardware. An amazing roguelike with just a few minor complaints.

F1 2021 continues where it left off with F1 2020 when it comes to the core gameplay. It brings well-needed changes to the UI and brings a few extra modes to choose from. For a season that is otherwise the same as the previous one, Codemasters did a great job of bringing changes to make it feel fresh in some ways. Issues from previous installments such as randomly placed track limits and occasional crashes are carried over. Something Codemasters could fix by bringing an update to the game (instead of the track)!

DOOM Eternal The Ancient Gods Part Two is a great finale story-wise, but when it comes to gameplay it is rather disappointing. The few new enemies and mechanics feel shallow and the actual final boss fight is a flop compared to what we've gotten in Eternal and the previous installment of DOOM. So just like Doomguy, we'll patiently have to wait until we can get going again because there's an itch that needs scratching!

Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods part 1 continues where Eternal left off, which is exactly what id Software was supposed to do to make it a success. All the good elements from Eternal with a few nice additions make The Ancient Gods Part 1 a must-have for fans of Doom!

A refreshing take on the sim-genre which doesn't take itself too seriously and doesn't think you should either. Some core-elements get repetitive quite fast, but for a quite cheap game it offers plenty of hilarious moments and original gameplay.

A cherry on top of the cake that is 25 years of Need for Sped, or yet another 'what could have been'? Need for Speed Heat has the potential te be everything that anyone can ever ask from a Need for Speed-title, yet it makes several strange choices that do not benefit the game. Racing is fun as always, the story is poor and customizing cars makes up for a lot. But a title that celebrates 25 years of Need for Speed? No, not by a long shot.

Wolfenstein Youngblood takes a different approach than previous Wolfenstein installments. Co-op instead of solo-adventuring and a bigger emphasis on exploring. Aside from some small hickups with stealth and enemies, it's a blast from beginning to end.

Metro Exodus takes a different approach than previous installments in the Metro-franchise. The game feels more like STALKER and that's a good thing. The only question is how much of the old Metro-soul remains. A great experience, but a different Metro.
