It’s possible to argue that the release of Sword Art Online -Hollow Realization- is a bit much.
With some great stories that don’t overstay their welcome and an endearing cast of characters, the King’s Quest reboot series manages to overcome some rough spots to become greater than its parts.
Fans of understatement would describe Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence – Ascension as sprawling.
It’s not perfect, but this game fills a niche in the VR market with its entrancing environments and fun take on a compulsive literary tale. Alice VR is best experienced with a set of goggles, but it’s a great experience for anyone.
While Chapter 3: Once Upon a Climb is my personal favorite out of this bunch, the closer might actually be the objective best, wrapping everything up in a bittersweet fashion.
Valkyrie Drive- Bhikkhuni is a one of those titles that takes awhile to get going, something that many folks will not be able to tolerate.
Whether or not Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls is a recommendation comes down to the individual. Players who can’t get enough of the series are probably only reading this to reinforce a purchase decision that was already made. They can rest assured knowing that this is a worthy entry in the series, giving an enormous dose of the quirk and charm that earned the series its place.
Final Approach, in its original and Pilot’s Edition incarnation, is one of those surprises that sounds silly on paper but works extremely well in practice.
Were one to be completely honest, the gameplay found in The Silver Case would garner it a middling score.
While not without some issues, Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour is absolutely a worthwhile release of an absolute classic.
Being a player invested in the story and humor of this episodic King’s Quest, I’m glad that I played through Snow Place Like Home.
Even with a couple of glaring issues, declaring Once Upon a Climb the best series entry is a non-issue.
With the right mindset, the game design is perfect for a brain cleanse or to serve as a half distraction while contemplating a more complex problem. The one thing holding it back is the pacing. Were an option added to resolve this, it would be a title to reign supreme among the cat game genre.
It feels like most of this review is spent pointing out issues that hampers Star Trek Online‘s experience.
Fans of the Touhou Universe might be interested in how well Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity captures the look and feel of the franchise along with how the title fits in with established lore.
