Twisted Arrow is ugly, simple and fails to break any real ground.
The decision as to whether or not Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King should be checked out boils down to the answer of a single question: does the potential buyer desire a new Zelda of the old school style? If the answer is yes, then this game is a must buy.
Despite all of these complaints, Has-Been Heroes isn’t a terrible time.
Though the plot opens the door to some compelling storytelling only to trip while walking in, there are so many other reasons to give Toukiden 2 a spin.
For its price and what its trying to do, Ghost Blade HD isn’t the worst time.
Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey is a title that engenders quite a bit of well-deserved criticism.
Numerous Japanese visual novels have been coming to English-speaking audiences lately, many of them excellent.
With frustrating tech, unappealing appearance and a lack of quality of life streamlining, Torment: Tides of Numenera might actually be my biggest gaming-related disappointment since I bought an Atari Jaguar. Some of the complaints mentioned here, especially exploration (wrongly as load times weren’t this bad), could be leveled at Planescape: Torment, but many years have gone by with many new ideas to make gaming experiences more engrossing.
There are so many reasons to pick up Berserk and the Band of the Hawk. Fans of the series will get a chance to play through their favorite battles and see supporting characters get some additional fleshing out.
Most of this review was spent pointing out where John Wick Chronicles fails fans of the movie, and that is a major issue.
If Super Pixel Smash was one part of a larger collection of mini-games, it would be a standout.
There are certain games that are ubiquitous for the Steam user.
From personal experience, it can be said that Atelier Shallie Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea is the perfect place for series newcomers to start.
Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star has a title that makes as little sense as its punctuation to an outsider, but it serves as the glue that holds everything together.
Steep is not a perfect game.
While the game concept and interaction methods are simple, Bounce has some heft to it. Fifty discrete levels that can be solved in ridiculous ways gives it quite a bit of staying power. The only limit is how over the top the player wants to be with the tools on hand. Anyone looking for a solid puzzler in VR will have a great time with Bounce.
Despite all of the complaints, there is some inherit value to Dragon Ball Fusions.
Loaded with humor, skill-based action and interesting brainteasers, the original Darksiders is one of the best games to come out of the last generation. It takes numerous recipes from other games and creates an adventure that’s worth taking. Having a better looking version of that sold at a fair price made available to the current gen makes Darksiders: Warmastered Edition absolutely worth the time.
The best indicator that this game has legs can be shown through this (admittedly) anecdotal evidence: when playing Killing Floor 2 online outside of the designated review meet up times on the PlayStation 4, I was still able to find a game with other players.
It’s reminiscent of the best of ’70s and ’80s children’s cinema, like The Secret of Nimh. It embraces a youthful vigor while introducing and exploring adult concepts. Honestly, if this were cut into a movie, I would be first in line for a copy of my own. As a game, it can be tedious at times as success is mostly left to random bumping into the walls until the right thing happens. All in all, it’s easy to enjoy the Silence.
