Dr Kobushi’s Labyrinthine Laboratory is not one of many in its genre. It is not another game inspired by classics that came to give a replica of their gameplay and story. Precisely enough, it was described as a combination of Pac-Man and Chess, and I did feel that, but also much more. It had those references that brought some type of comfort and sudden giggles. It had numerous surprise factors in every corner I stumbled upon. And it is without saying, that the narrative is brilliantly written, humoristic yet deep, delivering rich personalities with a good plot behind it. I can without a doubt highly recommend this game to all puzzle and strategic types of players, and for all of those who might not love this genre as much, I can still suggest you give it a go and challenge yourselves to something new. Even experienced players might find themselves stuck and scratching their heads with these dungeons, and some new players might have an out-of-the-box approach to puzzles that seem impossible. Even accessible for kids, it’s a very well-made game. I can’t wait to complete it myself and reveal all the secrets it has to offer.

Damien (Captain Velvet Meteor) is a very likeable protagonist. Even though most games like this one can turn out to be simplistic with their mechanics, Captain Velvet Meteor: the Jump + Dimensions delivers its tactical strategy gameplay smoothly and engagingly. This game “fun” comes from many aspects, but I would like to remark on its narrative and how the whole concept is built. Moving to another country, that has such a different culture, food and even time zone, is something tough and more for a kid. This game makes an adventure in every situation Damien had to adjust to his new life abroad. It also leaves an important mark with each level that is as enjoyable for an adult as for a kid that is going through something similar. I highly recommend you play this game, especially for strategy and tactic lovers and even more for people who are moving or moved to a different country and struggled to adjust.

Running on Magic is definitely worth its price and more. You can beat the whole game quite fast and then you still will have harder modes plus an endless mode to hone your timely jumps and skills. As mentioned before, its visuals and sounds won’t disappoint you and believe me, for those who love the challenge as much as I do, here you will also get that. The running wizard’s silent personality and the Grim Reaper’s peculiarities are hilariously amazing. This game fills in every aspect you need if you have a little time to spare and are looking to feel temporarily entertained. I highly recommend it and hope you enjoy it, I surely did.

Playing this game only gave me enjoyment, with brief moments of thoughtfulness and challenging problems to solve. It kept me quite entertained and the end of each stage made me curious about the next one. It has co-op which seems like a great experience to have with a friend. I would firmly recommend accompanying Mari and Bayu on their journey and playing this game, especially if you enjoy a serene yet challenging platformer adventure with a nice story and charming aesthetics.

Meet me at NooN has everything I would expect for a puzzle platformer game and even more. It was a pleasant experience, even when I did not have a single clue on how to progress. Its mechanics gives an amazing flow to the game, with time manipulation as a main focus. Its art and sound set a relaxing tone that invites you to feel comfortable. Not to forget that the challenges you deal with here will make you try many different approaches. To every player that enjoys puzzle games, time manipulation mechanics and beautifully made aesthetics, I recommend this game.
