Magical Delicacy is a cooking metroidvania which you can easily lose yourself in. Like any good fantasy, it encourages exploration and it doesn't punish you for your mistakes. With an intriguing story, you can really put yourself in Flora's shoes as you learn about the Kingdom of Grat with her.
Midnight Ramen is a cosy time with flavourful depths hidden within. With an emotional story and wonderful world-building, it's hard not to come back for seconds.
Love, Ghostie is an adorable little matchmaking game filled with wholesome humour and amusing roommate shenanigans. Filled with fun mini-games and interesting characters, you'll easily spend hours invested in shipping each one.
Featuring relatable characters, including a rocket launcher-wielding guinea pig, an in-depth story, exciting quests, and an immersive world, Beyond Galaxyland is an adventure that you won't want to miss.
Bloomtown: A Different Story is a pixelated RPG that takes heavy inspiration from the Persona series. While some cosy gamers may enjoy it and its music, there are some gameplay elements that drew me out of my immersion.
Neva is a stunning game that tackles the themes of parenthood and climate change perfectly. With an immersive soundtrack, beautiful art, and an emotional journey, it's a challenging platforming-adventure that fans new and old will love.
Diplomacy Is Not An Option offers plenty of modes for beginner and experienced RTS players to enjoy, with a tongue-in-cheek attitude and gameplay that's easy to understand.
ROGUE FLIGHT is the perfect love letter to classic space shooters with a modern touch. A brilliant soundtrack, numerous customisation options, and plenty of ways to play, there's a little something for everyone here.
Extra Coin explores a tale where you have to choose between reality or a dream. It tackles some heavy themes, but it encapsulates them well in this charming pixelated adventure.
Priest Simulator: Vampire Show is a mostly-enjoyable experience, but it does lose its charm later in the game. While it has a goofy premise with a unique mockumentary format, it could do with a little more polishing.
While I enjoy the characters and animation, BIOMORPH doesn't bring many new elements to the metroidvania genre. If you're looking for a new entry point, then BIOMORPH could be a great choice, but veterans may be left wanting more.
Date Everything! is a passionate game in all ways. From the writing to the artwork, it's impossible not to love such a goofy yet touching experience. Bringing dating sims to a whole new level, this is one that you can't miss.
Cubic Odyssey tried to reach for the stars, but ultimately, it fell flat. With limited action and a lot of grinding, there's very little to actually do in what should be an expansive galaxy.
