Had held off from playing this or the original RE for far too long. Had played the other mainlines and remakes and its one of my favorite series. Seeing the survival horror template was awesome. This has great moments and design.

An outstanding remake. Usually the new stuff that gets added to a remake is the weakest content, however here it's some of the best. I've never been a fan of the fixed camera, however they've at least improved the controls here. There's essentially no reason to replay the original game
