Pendula Swing - The Complete Journey is a unique, fun, and beautiful experience that I think everyone that is a fan of RPG and point-and-clicks should try. It charmed my pants right off.
The controls are so bad, in fact, that they outweigh whatever good or interesting or intriguing things Pendula Swing may be trying to do here. There's a lot going on, and there are all kinds of ideas, but the only way to experience any of it is by dealing with constant frustration, and in the end it doesn't seem worth it.
While I'm thrilled that the classic point-and-click adventure has made a roaring comeback in this generation, in particular the implementation of controls when you're not making use of a mouse has stood out as a visible challenge for developers...
