Trifox is a top-down action-adventure title where I played as a fox on a journey to reclaim his stolen television remote. I was excited to dive into this title after noticing similarities between it and the Skylanders series in the trailer. Did my excitement hold out for the duration of the game? Trifox definitely have some great ideas in mind and the idea of mixing a Twin Stick Shooter with a Platformer could be a fantastic project. Unfortunately the game feels like they just placed both mechanics and called it a day, instead of try and merge them in a fun or different way.
