Just an awesome video game. Fun, whimsical and simply a great time. Most importantly, Astro Bot is about as much fun as you can have playing a video game. The smiles per minute are off the chart with this one and the fun never stops. The classic PlayStation characters are
Entertaining and easy for everyone, awesome fun for a rainy day
Platformers aren’t exactly my favorite genre, but that hasn’t stopped me from trying at least one new one nearly every year. And without a doubt, Astro Bot makes it onto my must-play list, right up there with Mario or, in my case, Rayman Legends.
The controls are outstanding in every way,
There's creativity, there's challenge, there's JOY and celebration in this game that shows PlayStation's newest mascot properly exposed to the world for the first time with no restrictions or gimmicks to hold him back.
I didn't have this much fun with a video game and I didn't enjoy playing one as much as I do with this one since Tears of The Kingdom. The level design is so good, the separation of the level is so good and it's so creative with so many
One word......................................................... "Perfection"
It's 1 of, if not, the platformer that I've ever played. Playstation finally has its own Super Mario Odyssey.
It's like Mario Odyssey, but on PS5 - absolutely delightful! It's pretty, it's colourful, it's juicy, it works well and it looks amazing - what's not to like about this game (save for a hefty price tag)?
This game is a really great experience with the ps5 controller. It's more sophisticated than Mario. The physics engine is awesome.
The game's content lacks depth. This led to the fact that when I got through it, I wouldn't play it again. Compare that to Mario, which I played several
Wonderful platformer, fantastic use of the controller and it works that Nintendo magic in a setting that tributes the history of PlayStation.
When you think of revolutionary games that utilize a game system's specific features, you think of Nintendo. That was what I was thinking the entire time I played Astro Bot. It feels as though Miyamoto personally created it. Is it possible that after three decades we finally have a platformer
Playing it together with my kid (6yo) and my wife on a 30-mins daily basis, this is a wonderfull game. Some hardcore levels for hardcore players, lots of hidden stuff, beautiful stages, a nearly perfect game design and use of the dual sense that is mastered.
GOTY without any doubts,
A truly inspiring platformer. Though it does not reinvent the wheel, this game refines every detail in the genre. It's a joyful and stress-free experience that will grip newcomers and veteran gamers alike.
One of the most creative and bursting-with-joy games I've played. Pretty perfect for what it is.
