One of the best lore out there, not only by its depth but also to his coherence, deep meaning etc. I love this game for so many reasons, but his OST is one of the bests, clearly rivaling against AAA games and well established titles.
Literally the peak of gaming, if this doesn't win Game of the year it would be a fraud
Story, characters, music, gameplay -- I was ignoring this game when it came out as I do not generally play games with such turn-based combat system -- but people get pushing me to give it a try. And yeah - little did I know what I had been missing. Enjoyed
Made me cry WAY too much as a grown adult. THIS is THE benchmark for a 10/10 JRPG... heck, even a 10/10 video game.
the story is being laid out keeping in mind the player isn't dumb, they won't handhold. it is pretty deep and tought out
For those who come after! my goty!
i loooove the music, the art and the character.
their spirit is soooo moving!
grafica 10 storia 10 musiche 10 gameplay 10 questo e un goty per me con mani basse
I mean wow, the game is amazing to say the least. Its near perfect story and gaming wise. My only con of this game is the difficulty levels. They are terribly wrong and misleading which is an issue. other than that the expedition 33 takes the turn-based gameplay to a
Story that moved me to tears. I just couldn't put it down. 3 months after finishing it still haunts my thoughts. The gameplay was tactical and fun, and let me build-craft my way around certain fights to suit my gameplay style. My personal GotY.
Beautiful artwork with a heart breaking story that reminds us what it is to be a human.
Hands down the best game I've played in the better part of a decade. There's no reason NOT to play this game.
It's not often in life that you get the chance to experience true masterpieces first hand, at the exact time and with the effect that the artists intended.
This isn't good because of the gameplay, the music, the style or the story, but because of the overall package that combines all
this game is really a surprise, so emotional, it's really good, OST are peak and the best ever heard, epic and intense emotional game. however dungeon feels repetitive, platforming is just garbage, I loved the combat even if with the parry you can easily break the game but way better
Easily the best game I've played (serious). The graphic design, atmosphere, character design, story, motion capture, animations, sounds effects and MUSIC are easily the best you'll see. Playing this game I didn't want it to end at all. Every dungeon is a cinematic trip. I don't know how humans
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a rare gem—a bold, breathtaking fusion of art, combat, and storytelling that doesn’t just borrow from genre conventions, it redefines them. From the first moments, it’s clear this isn’t just another RPG: it’s a poetic, painterly journey that dares to blend elegance with intensity.
Visually, the
