Amazing game. Loved the story and the combat. Didn't overstay it's welcome with filler like some other JRPGs. Have some surprising story turns. And the combat while tough was fair and felt great landing a parry or a dodge right when you needed it.
A great game that combines an amazing story with fun gameplay and visuals.
Story.
If you focus on just the story and minimal extra content, the game takes maybe 40 hours at most. It doesn't bog you down with a 100+ hour story like some other games. It has exactly what is

The game is incredible.
I’ve never been particularly into turn-based games and usually didn’t pay much attention to them, but this one completely won me over.
The graphics, art direction, story, plot, and gameplay are all top-notch.
The soundtrack complements everything beautifully and enhances the experience.
There are a few small issues near the
Pretty much nothing negative to say about it. The only thing I would've loved would me more varying items on the maps as it feels like you always collect the same three things
This game's story, visuals, and combat blew me away. I've not felt this way about a game in decades. It hooked me so hard and wouldn't let go. The narrative is sublime. there is no bloat in the story, it does exactly what it needs to do. There is a
The game has been a complete surprise for me, and I’m thrilled. Its story is very interesting, just like its characters. The combat is amazing—fun and varied—with tons of different builds and options. The music is exceptional… I can only think about playing it, and I hope it wins many
i refunded the game after less then an hour
turn based RPG's are ment to have a story that grabs you and gets you interested
this game does not have that, after the first cutscene i found myself spamming past dialog and insta skipping cutscences, not good for a game thats hook
A Masterful JRPG.
As a fan of JRPGs, having a game like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 makes me very happy, for so many reasons but, basically, it’s clear the developers of this game really love their video games, the ones that made them who they are and do what they do,
This game is truly a milestone in JRPG games. Sets new standards for the future of the genre in both gameplay, plot and music. A real 10/10 game.
I am typically not a big fan of turn-based games. I've usually struggled with staying committed to that combat style, even when I know there is a good story involved in a game.
Expedition 33 completely changed that for me.
Expedition 33 is a masterpiece that had me looking forward
absolute masterpiece. The combat is fluid, fast and engaging, doesnt feel like a slog to get through as that is a problem in a lot of turn based rpgs.
The story is the best i have ever seen. hands down.
100% it in roughly 60 hours. Been curious about this game since its first reveal. Wanted something to scratch that Legend of Dragoon/Shadow Hearts itch, ended up with a masterpiece. Loved every single thing about this title, from gameplay, story, visuals to the eargasmic soundtrack. It's a game with a
