However, it doesn’t fix the fundamental issues that drag the game down—namely, poor AI, a clunky UI, and repetitiveness. If you’re a fan of the series and enjoyed RTK8, this is a must-have that will give you dozens of extra hours of fun. But if you were expecting the game to transform into a modern strategic gem, you’ll be disappointed. It’s a step forward, but the goal is still a long way off.
