Asdivine Knot Reviews
Asdivine Knot is a beautiful game with detailed spritework and captivating music, but it’s severely lacking in the gameplay and story departments. From its derivative plot to its simple (albeit effective) turn-based combat, Asdivine Knot does nothing special that can grab the attention of the most seasoned JRPG aficionados. Fortunately, however, its fast-paced combat and accessible mechanics make it a perfect gateway JRPG for anybody who is interested in the genre and does not want to feel overwhelmed.
Asdivine Knot is a highly entertaining old-school RPG with a wonderful cast and intuitive gameplay so definitely play it if you enjoy retro RPGs. ⚔️
Asdivine Knot is a decent-at-best mobile game that has potential to be a good game, as it has a decent combat system and an interesting upgrade mechanic. However, it's filled with boring characters, a barren world, and microtransactions that may have worked when it was a free game that had ads to break up the action. But as a ported release that's competing with other games to get my attention, spend your money elsewhere.
Asdivine Knot is a charming old-school JRPG with a promising story about faith and guilt, an eccentric cast, and enjoyable turn-based combat enhanced by the shared Nexus system. Its rewarding airship progression and convenient quality-of-life features make it an appealing adventure for genre fans, although repetitive dungeons, uneven pacing, poorly balanced difficulty, and lingering mobile-style monetization prevent its strongest ideas from reaching their full potential.
