Noahmund is a good proposal for lovers of the most classic RPGs, which stands out for an interesting story and a fabulous soundtrack.

At times, the secret to enjoying a video game is patience. Like a seemingly incomprehensible puzzle, it's up to the player to take their time, giving careful consideration to every aspect. However, as Noahmund proves, patience can have its limits. There is merit to be found in this strategy RPG, but it's buried under a number of issues, namely the uneven pacing, annoying combat, and progress-halting bugs. Some people might be able to struggle through them; others will feel that their time is better invested elsewhere.

Noahmund is a game that lacks polish in many areas, but boasts a new gameplay experience different from a standard RPG. While not everyone may be able to handle its flaws, it is certainly something worth trying despite them.

Honestly, I’m disappointed that I wasn’t able to finish this one, with numerous bugs and missing English-language lines (there are entire conversations that play out as a series of empty text boxes) making doing so impossible. According to Steam, I’ve played Noahmund for 8 hours, while the in-game timer of my most recent save reads 4 hours and 52 minutes, with the difference between the two being progress that was lost because of bugs.
