Pokémon Pokopia is easily one of the most refreshing entries the series has seen in a long time. By shifting the focus toward construction and living alongside your Pokémon, it turns the traditional formula into something incredibly mellow and absorbing. Thanks to its solid mechanics and top-tier presentation, it’s clear the franchise still knows how to innovate. A few systems might feel a little unpolished, but overall, it’s a standout adventure that definitely deserves your time.

The remastered final installment of the Legacy of Kain saga, Defiance, has arrived. A solid remaster, on par with the original, that will leave no one indifferent.

Marathon redefines the genre with its style and gunplay, but its chaotic interface and utter lack of forgiving nature for newcomers make it a gem reserved for the most patient players. A masterful offering from Bungie that borders on perfection, provided you're prepared to battle both the menus and the other players.

Resident Evil Requiem proves that the series still knows how to generate real tension. It doesn't reinvent the formula, but it executes it with confidence, respect for its legacy, and an atmosphere that's hard to match. It's demanding, intense, and aware of its place within modern survival horror.

Neva: prologue is everything we could ask for in a DLC, telling the story of how Alba and Neva met, maintaining everything that worked in the original release and adding small details to provide the freshness it needed.

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen returns 22 years after its initial release to commemorate the franchise's 30th anniversary. This game is a perfect port of the original, allowing players to enjoy the experience just as it was in 2004, even completing the Pokédex by trading with players who own the other version of the game locally.

EVERDARK: Undead Apocalypse is a survival shooter with a clear identity and an unmistakable ’80s soul. It doesn’t shine on a technical level or delve too deeply into its narrative, but its gameplay loop is addictive and its B-movie tone works. It’s straightforward, irreverent, and fully aware of what it wants to be. An imperfect first chapter, yes — but one with personality and real room to grow.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on Switch 2 doesn’t reinvent the experience, but it refines it where it needed it most. The jump to 60fps transforms the flow of combat and exploration, making the ambitious world of Mira feel more stable and enjoyable than ever. It remains a demanding and uncompromising JRPG, but for those who connect with its science-fiction setting and systemic freedom, this is without a doubt the best way to experience it today.

Reanimal solidifies Tarsier Studios' identity with a grittier and more consistently tense approach. While its mechanics may feel somewhat repetitive, its audiovisual presentation and atmospheric design make it a disturbing and coherent experience. It doesn't reinvent the horror genre, but it executes it with a distinctive style.

Nioh 3 shines with a thrilling narrative and unique art style that more than compensate for its engine's shortcomings. Its dual samurai-ninja system is gameplay perfection, enhanced by masterful sound and complete freedom of builds. While its technical aspects are mediocre and in need of an upgrade, it's the price to pay for the best combat and narrative in the series.

Crisol: Theater of Idols is a bold proposal with a strong identity and an aesthetic and mechanical coherence that’s rare in today’s landscape. Its blood-as-life-and-ammo system heightens the tension, its reinterpreted religious imagery gives it a distinctive personality, and its theatricality embraces excess without hesitation. It isn’t perfect, but it is deeply honest. And when a work takes risks, moves you, and genuinely feels different, its impact goes far beyond the score.

RIDE 6 solidifies its status as a collector's paradise thanks to its unbeatable game library, but it leaves a bittersweet taste, feeling more like a conservative update than a revolution. While the sound is superb and the RIDE Fest mode is addictive, the erratic AI, the lackluster multiplayer, and Milestone's technical complacency demonstrate that a lack of competition is the worst enemy of innovation.

A visually stunning climbing challenge. Capable of captivating you with its atmosphere or frustrating you with its demanding nature and slow pace. A niche experience where the true summit is personal satisfaction.

Earth Must Die is a graphic adventure with a very distinctive personality that doesn't try to please everyone. You'll like it if you enjoy British humor, political satire, and adventures where dialogue and manipulation take precedence over classic puzzles, and if you don't mind playing in English in an experience heavily reliant on witty banter and double entendres. It's stable, expressive, and consistent with its premise, although its exaggerated tone and uneven pacing might not suit those looking for something more traditional or accessible.

Sleep Awake tells an unusual story with an original idea that grabs you… until you realize it's not entirely well executed. Even so, its atmosphere, sound, and psychedelic moments make it a unique experience if you're into experimental horror.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ 3.0 update doesn’t try to reinvent the game or compete with the promise of a brand-new entry. Its greatest strength lies in understanding its community and supporting it with systems that respect the player’s time, calm, and creativity. It doesn’t deliver major narrative surprises or intense challenges, but it does offer genuine reasons to return, stay a little longer, and play without pressure. A solid, generous update that remains true to what Animal Crossing has always been: a refuge that evolves with you.

For a survival game, it's surprisingly player-friendly, even allowing you to customize your gameplay to your liking, from super relaxed to hardcore. You set the limits. Plus, it has a beautiful and well-developed story, at least as far as we've played. It's your turn, player, to save Insule!

Thief VR: Legacy of Shadows doesn’t reinvent the genre or the platform, and although it introduces a few new mechanics, they’re not enough to push it to the top. On top of that, being multiplatform significantly holds it back in terms of graphical quality.
