Monster Energy Supercross 25 is a terrible name for such a finely crafted game. This is for the hardcore fans of the sport and Milestone has gone the extra mile to make sure all the realism is intact. They could have done more to ease in casual players, but everything else is fantastic.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 represents a step forward from previous titles. The progress due to the adoption of UE5 is evident and has brought the series even closer to a true simulation. Some adjustments are still necessary to better balance the difficulty level, correct sporadic problems with the opponent AI, and improve the navigability of the UI.

Ultimately, Monster Energy Supercross 25 is a competent but unspectacular entry in the series. The improved visuals and deeper career mode are welcome additions, but the core gameplay remains largely unchanged.

This latest entry in the niche Supercross series is being billed as a reboot-thanks largely to its Unreal Engine 5 overhaul-but it hardly feels like one. Despite the visual upgrades, the same stiff rider animations and shallow Career mode make it feel more like a seasonal refresh than a true reinvention. I came in hoping for another fun, adrenaline-fueled bike game, but inconsistent physics and underwhelming features left me cold, especially considering the franchise's rich heritage and unique concept.

Overall, handlebars in hand, we are faced with one of the best chapters that Milestone has produced for the Monster Energy Supercross series , which improves in some key aspects and which, while not perfect, puts itself on the right track for the future.
