Overall, Spider Solitaire F is basically a generic Spider Solitaire game but without the replay value. After I played every set, I had no desire to go back to the game. The game isn't broken, I just feel it could have been something that stood out but instead became forgettable. You can probably find a free Spider Solitaire game on a different system if you really want to play a game like this.

Spider Solitaire F set out to do one thing: to give us a solid digital option for playing spider solitaire at home or on the go. I'm here to report that it does this perfectly. You'll be reviewing the screen to find the best way to carry on so that you can remove full sets of cards left and right, getting new cards to carry on or opening a space on the table to set down a single card or a sequence to bring you closer and closer to winning. If you're a fan of spider solitaire, then this is a good option on Nintendo Switch!

At the end of the day this is an electronic version of a game you could already play anywhere at any time with just a deck of cards handy. That said, the pre-made nature of the game’s 100 sets removes the randomness and when combined with an ability to undo your moves the game takes on a feel of a puzzle game at times as well. A lack of touch support is disappointing but not necessarily crippling, the result is a title that’s nice as an option but not obviously something most gamers are likely to be thrilled to check out.
