The biggest selling point is that it's a pure action ride without any distractions in now-days filled with multitude of open-world titles.
Too much cut content, too linear, police AI too dumb, too similar to Mafia III etc. to be called one of the greatest remakes of all time. It's just a decent one. Although anyone who haven't played the original game will be very satisfied with it.

Mafia: Definitive is a wonderfully realized remake based on the original Mafia game from 2002. It does show its age at times, but it's a highly enjoyable trip to an age not often explored in gaming.
