Namco Museum Archives Vol 1 Reviews
If it were one complete collection it’d be easily recommended but, as two separate purchases, these are for hardcore Namco fans only.
Mainly a collection dedicated to Namco and NES fans, as these are surely the players who mostly enjoy this set of retro games. The games, well known to the public, can easily show their worthiness individually, but on overall the package fails to provide significant added value overall. You can enjoy an exclusive in Europe and completely new title produced especially for this collection.

Without any unique selling points or cool trappings and additional content, I can’t recommend buying this collection.
Today, Bosconian is an early Namco title that holds up very well indeed. It’s something a little bit different from the other shoot ’em ups of the era — and its accessibility makes it a great title for taking your first steps into early ’80s blasters if you’ve previously found the unforgiving nature of fixed shooters a bit tough to get to grips with!
