8.5 / 10.0 - Battlefield 6
Oct 27, 2025

Overall, Battlefield 6 delivers on its promise to revitalize the series, offering intense and strategic multiplayer with large-scale battles, balanced classes, and a vast, customizable arsenal. The single-player campaign, while short, serves as an introduction to the mechanics and tone of war, but it's actually the title's weakest point. Portal mode grants nearly infinite creative freedom, while daily and weekly goals and class progression keep players motivated to return. Visually and sonically, the game is immersive on the PS5, with solid performance, detailed destruction, and immersive sound that transports the player to the heart of the action. With all this, DICE demonstrates that it has learned from past mistakes and finally delivers a title that can reclaim its place at the top and win the battle for the shooter throne.

8.5 / 10.0 - Ghost of Yotei
Oct 20, 2025

If you're a player who really enjoyed Tsushima, Yōtei will be a huge hit: it delivers on what was already good, improves on many minor aspects, brings a new world to explore, a strong protagonist, and beautiful environments. However, if you were expecting something that would be a narrative revolution or a character with existential doubts, internal sacrifices, and that intense emotional arc like Jin's, you might be a little disappointed: Atsu is simpler in this regard, more direct. All in all, I recommend Ghost of Yōtei. It's well worth it, but with the caveat that it's "more of the same, but improved," rather than a true revolution. Perhaps in the future, Sucker Punch will venture even further into this aspect of emotional growth.

8 / 10.0 - Shuten Order
Sep 6, 2025

Shuten Order may promise five distinct gameplay styles, but it's not the individuality of its routes—captivating yet conceptually and mechanically limited—that will reveal its appeal. Rather, it's in the way these paths intersect, providing a broader, more cohesive, and grander story, with the level of creativity and eccentricity we've come to expect from Too Kyo Games' releases.

In the end, Midnight Murder Club delivers on its promise: an experience full of suspense, laughter, and twists, where every round is unpredictable and every session with friends becomes a spectacle of chaos and fun. With its varied modes, simple yet effective mechanics, and the convenience of the Guest Pass edition, the game unites groups, creates memorable moments, and ensures no one wants to leave Wormwood Manor any time soon. For those looking for a game that combines tension, comedy, and competitiveness among friends in balanced doses, Midnight Murder Club is undoubtedly a must-have.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a love letter to die-hard fans of Tite Kubo's work, but little more. In terms of story adaptation, this is an extremely competent effort that also presents Ichigo and company fans with new, quality content. Gameplay-wise, it meets the requirements and manages to offer a good few hours of fun, but it falls short by being too superficial and routine in crucial areas. It's one of those offerings that will only increase in value the more fans you are of the source material—and for the most passionate Bleach fans, this game is well worth it. For others seeking a mechanically deep and strategically dense fighting game, you'll leave this experience with an appetite to satisfy.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is much more than a sequel. It's a response. It's an "I hear you" from Kojima. He refined what was already unique, added substantial content, and brought more emotion to every decision. It's not a game for everyone, just as the first one wasn't. It's slow, introspective, symbolic. However, whoever embarks on this journey will find an experience even stronger, more mature, and more personal than the previous one. It's not just about connecting the world. It's about maintaining those connections. It's about what we do with them when the silence returns. And, Kojima… yes. I know you actually read our review.

Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition is a faithful remaster of a great strategy party game, complete with four retro bonus games and intriguing snapshots of the series' history that mark it as an excellent effort to preserve and celebrate Worms. It's also a testament to the timeless quality of the source material, still enjoyable after more than a quarter of a century—however, the remaster's conservatism that proves its resistance to time is also what leaves us lamenting the lack of new content and quality-of-life tweaks.

Nightreign isn't a new milestone in FromSoftware's history—it's a bold departure that trades the vastness of exploration for the urgency of shared survival. It's a less grandiose but more focused experience, where every decision matters and every victory is earned together. It may not appeal to purists, but for those who embrace this new approach, there's an addictive and demanding formula here that rewards dedication and cooperation. It's not the next Souls epic, but it's a reminder that FromSoftware still knows how to surprise—even when it trades the epic for the ephemeral, solitude for shared chaos.

Even after 13 years, Sonic Generations remains a fun and worthwhile experience. However, it's with Shadow Generations that this offering shines, offering some of the best and most enjoyable 3D levels in the entire franchise to date. Sonic X Shadow Generations is not only a beautiful celebration of the (good and bad) Sonic the Hedgehog games, but also a great glimpse into what could be a bright future for this video game series.

Between the energetic and insanity-filled dialogue and the absorbing Escape and Somnium segments, No Sleep for Kaname Date offers a microcosm of the emotions, humor, and charm of the AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES universe. The story lacks the grandeur of its predecessors, but its excellent and refined puzzles and the opportunity to interact with its idiosyncratic characters balance the scales and make this spinoff a valuable (though not essential) entry for its enthusiasts.

8 / 10.0 - Mario Kart World
Jul 7, 2025

While establishing a brilliant new direction for the series, Mario Kart World transforms the arduous pace in which Mario Kart 8 Deluxe left the series into a game of compromises. On one hand, we find an incredible reinvention of the series' gameplay, a spectacular set of tracks, and a refreshing and exquisite audiovisual component; on the other, a host of hard-to-swallow setbacks and omissions, and a stubborn Nintendo shoving its sterile open world down players' throats to the detriment of their enjoyment. With future updates, World can easily cure several of its dispensable flaws—so far, the only one it has received has only served to deepen them.

5 / 10.0 - The Precinct
Jun 25, 2025

The Precinct starts with a promising premise, putting us in the shoes of a law enforcement officer in a crime-ridden city, but unfortunately fails to maintain this ambition throughout its execution. Despite offering accessible gameplay and an interesting progression system, the repetitive tasks, the over-reliance on grinding, the serious AI issues, and the lack of content variety ultimately make the experience frustrating in the medium to long term. The chases, which should be moments of tension and adrenaline, quickly become tests of patience. The shootouts, instead of challenging the player, become unbalanced and irritating. The lack of life outside of patrols, such as meaningful side activities or richer interactions with the world, leaves the city drab not only in terms of environment but also in terms of content. Still, it's clear that there's a concept here with potential. With tweaks to the AI, more mission variety, and improvements to gameplay fluidity, The Precinct could establish itself as a solid offering for those who've always wanted to be "the cop" GTA-style. Right now, it's an experience that might entertain for a few hours, but it's unlikely to hold interest in the long run, especially for those seeking depth or a truly vivid and engaging world.

6 / 10.0 - Star Overdrive
Jun 18, 2025

Star Overdrive is, therefore, a game that starts with a good idea and offers a captivating aesthetic, but fails to sustain interest over time. Repetition, inconsistent mechanics, a story that, while interesting, fails to deliver true emotion, and the emptiness of its world ultimately undermine the journey's impact. It's an experience that has its moments—especially for those who enjoy games with strong artistic direction and a more restrained length—but falls short of its true potential.

7.5 / 10.0 - Blades of Fire
Jun 2, 2025

Blades of Fire doesn't try to reinvent the genre, but rather reinvents itself within its own rules. By abandoning the traditional leveling system and focusing all progression on forging and weapon customization, it offers a more focused and cohesive experience. It may not appeal to everyone—especially those seeking more accessible approaches—but those willing to face its challenges will find a rich, engaging, and memorable adventure. MercurySteam thus creates a title that honors its influences without ever becoming hostage to them, and that proves there's still room for innovation within a well-established formula. Blades of Fire is, above all, a game of endurance—physical, emotional, and creative—where every battle won, every weapon forged, and every step taken into the unknown counts.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 isn't just a game—it's an experience that stays with you. The unique combination of engaging narrative, deeply human characters, challenging combat mechanics, and a visually stunning world gives every moment within this universe a weight that transcends the digital realm. Its ability to make us feel every emotion, every loss, every victory, is a rare and remarkable feat in the world of video games. Its longevity lies not only in the number of hours we spend playing, but in the depth of connection we're able to establish with it. In a landscape where many productions fall into repetitive formulas, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 offers something truly memorable: a journey of emotion, reflection, and growth. For those seeking not just a game, but a lifelong experience, this is a work that will remain—and for everyone else, an invitation to discover what is most human and beautiful in video games. Don't get hung up on labels that, for many, can be off-putting, like being an RPG or having turn-based combat. This is a painting. A masterpiece.

Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition isn't just a technical rescue of a lost title on a forgotten console; it's an affirmation of the enduring value of Monolith Soft's vision. By bringing this sci-fi epic back with the care and respect it deserves, the team not only redeems the limitations of the original version, but also amplifies its impact. With enhanced visuals, a revitalized soundtrack, substantial performance improvements, and a narrative addition that more satisfyingly ties up some of the story's loose ends, this remaster offers a more cohesive, engaging, and immersive experience. Above all, it's a renewed invitation to explore Mira with new eyes, with the certainty that, even after nearly ten years, the heart of this journey beats with the same force. For those who have already experienced this world, it's a thrilling return. For those just joining, it's the ideal opportunity to experience one of the most daring and atmospheric adventures in Nintendo history.

9.5 / 10.0 - Split Fiction
Mar 17, 2025

Split Fiction shines both for its originality and for its ability to provide an entertaining, emotional, and, at times, challenging experience. Hazelight Studios once again succeeds in creating a captivating narrative where cooperation is not only essential but also deeply integrated into every aspect of the game. It's not just a continuation of the studio's legacy, it's a celebration of everything that makes cooperation in video games magical.

I wish I could recommend Ever 17 - The Out of Infinity to you with all my heart. Its story is excellent and mesmerizing, featuring fascinating revelations that are as bold today as they were twenty years ago, and its presentation and accessibility are better than ever. However, I can only do so with a glaring disclaimer: for all its positive additions, the newest version of the game has a nauseating dose of foreshadowing, which lessens the impact of its biggest twists. Ever 17 doesn't live and die by its surprises, but its brilliance isn't as splendid without them.

Once we overcame its grating romantic clichés, we found Never 7 - The End of Infinity to have an intriguing plot filled with stimulating themes that linger in our minds long after the credits roll. Combining thought-provoking concepts with a calmer and more detached setting than its successors, Never 7 retains a unique charm that keeps it captivating even 20 years later, despite being noticeably inferior in scope and memorability. However, this remaster would have benefited from a more refined English localization, deeper graphical enhancements, and the inclusion of the exclusive TIPS entries from the PSP version.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is the best version of this Wii classic… by default. Nearly 15 years later, it's still a delight to overcome its challenging levels, find its optional collectibles, and appreciate its rich three-dimensional worlds — especially now that we can do so at 1080p60FPS with traditional controls. However, a 2D platformer of this caliber deserved a more refined port, one that features a more ambitious graphical update and doesn't introduce new issues to the experience, from frame rate drops to severe setbacks in cooperative mode.
