Dungeons 3 - Complete Collection Reviews
Dungeons 3 – Complete Collection is not a bad game. It’s just got a lot of issues that some may notice more than others. Actually building and managing your dungeon is rewarding once you settle into the rhythm of gameplay. The bulk of the story and humour – which, if you couldn’t tell, is not my cup of tea – tends to stay out of the way during these moments as well, letting this bureaucratic megalomaniac power fantasy do it’s thing.
Summary: I enjoyed my time with Dungeons 3 - Complete Collection and look forward to jumping back into the game and spending another 20 hours or so just enjoying the game.
Dungeons 3 is simply one of the most underrated games in recent years and now that you can enjoy dozens of hours of bonus content via this Complete Collection, I highly recommend it to any real-time strategy fan, especially those with a dark sense of humour.
Videogames, like any creative work, are liable to age, or instead to age poorly. Not only from a technical point of view but also from a playable point of view. There are mechanics, and even game concepts that have gone down in history, or at least have gone out of style. However, there are also immortal works, and forms of play that are always fresh, modern, or at least don’t taste old. One of these classics is Dungeon Keeper, which explored the strategy in real-time in such a personal and original way, that in their day, they didn’t even dare to imitate it.
A lot has happened since Dungeon Keeper 3 was canceled, but Dungeons came to take over and is in good health. The launch of this "Complete Collection" is an ideal opportunity to purchase the game, if we did not already have it, and enjoy a large amount of content. The game offers certain new features, and being able to alternate two different types of game between the surface and the subsoil gives variety, which is good news for lovers of a series that does not have many alternatives to use. The control is well adapted, but sometimes it asks for keyboard + mouse.
