Genshin Impact 5.3 Update Highlights Chronicled Banner and 2025 Character Teasers

HoYoverse has offered a sneak peek of what to expect in the upcoming Genshin Impact 5.3 update, including 3 brand-new characters and 5-star weapons. A silhouette teaser also hints at seven combatants coming to the game throughout 2025.

A recent developer livestream disclosed that part one of the patch will go live on January 1, 2025, featuring Mavuika, the formidable Natlan ruler, and Citlali, the sorceress. Part two will launch on January 21, 2024, headlined by Clorinde and Arlecchino, the incredible damage machines.

Genshin Impact New Chronicled Banner

The Chronicled Banner is returning to the action-packed RPG, this time, themed around Liyue units such as Tartaglia. A minor adjustment in the latest update will let Genshin Impact's best characters feature, even with less than three appearances.

This banner also offers you 5-star characters such as Baizhu, Ganyu, and Shenhe during the Lantern Rite in 2025. Lan Yan is expected to join Clorinde and Arlecchino in the second half of version 5.3.
